Reviews for York Haven Marina
Very Basic Boatyard, 2016-09-08

Folks, this is a no-frills boatyard for haul-outs. It is about 1/2 the cost of other local yards such as the excellent Cobb's Marina in Norfolk. This is traditional southern, no-rush pace. If you're in a hurry, go elsewhere. If you want a haul-out and do the work yourself cheaply, then this is the bomb.

DIY I Will Be Going Down Stream......, 2013-04-23

I think scuba pete hit the mark, again, on this one....I will be following him down stream on this one...and offer that I will ashore and abandone ship if sinking....if YHM is my only option.....

Basic working yard or DIY, 2012-04-24
Captain: , Seaford, VA (783)

This is a very basic working yard where most of the local watermen have their boats hauled to work on them.

Can lift larger boats (+/- 40') but don't seem to care much about scratching up your gelcoat. I was quoted a price for haul out and storage while I did my own work. I was charged additional fees because I didn't buy my suppies from them! (there is no ship's store or any other retail there, but somehow I was supposed to purchase all my supplies through them...... not happy.) They do have the only travel lift around (30 tons I think)--- but I will not be going back unless I'm sinking.

Mostly slips for 12-25' boats, with a few larger ones with 30A power. Usually several live aboards here also.
