One of our Caterpillar engines had a leak from the valve cover after a bunch of gasket changes. We were headed north to New England and decided to go to Cambridge to have the leaking fixed. Yacht Maintenance made an easy spot for us to dock and immediately got the parts ordered and put back on the boat. Given the day waiting for parts they arranged a diver to install some zincs and also helped fixed a tachometer problem.

This yard is an unexpected find. They've got a lot of capabilities and fit our needs exceptionally well. The new owner has a wonderful outlook and just wants the chance to show what they can do. That's a ten star attitude and will go far to make this place a major success.

Our dogs fell in love with Moose and Bo, two boatyard dogs. The Cambridge environment was nice - the whole experience was a great one. It almost made us forget about the leaking oil from the engine!

While we were there, we're having them put together some quotes for some painting and steel work. There is plenty of welding expertise here and they know paints.

This yard is one to mark down and try. We'll be back.

We are a Local supplier of Marine Electronics for the Chesapeake Bay. I just want to say we use Yacht Maintenace For all our local haulouts when possible. They are flexible and willing to work with us on short Notice.

Awesome! Everyone here is very helpful, 2012-04-26

I wintered on the hard at Yacht Maintenance. I must say that every member of their staff is awesome. While getting ready for spring launch, Laird stopped by quite a bit to see how things were going. Braxton was very responsive to requests, if she was not available I always received a prompt call back.
Their rates are great and they are very experienced in maintaining vessels of all size. I have asked them to pick up my boat from the municipal basin nearby and they gladly pick it up and return it.

I could not think of taking my boat anywhere but here. Kudos to Charlie for picking such an awesome staff! I will be back anytime I need help.

Pulled into Cambridge in 2002 finding myself in need of a new dinghy. The folks at the Yacht Maintenance Company where we docked picked up a new dinghy for us at West Marine and let us stay at thier dock overnight. These folks were great then and still have a great reputation.

Charlie is the owner and is very knowegable about boat maintence and rigging. My hydraulic steering blew a fitting and I was refered to Yacht Maintenance by Cambrge Yacht Club. It took the mechanic 45 minutes to remove the ram, fittings and hoses. 2 days later everything was rebuilt and reinstalled. Cost under $500. I was shocked. Great service and nice people.

Genuinely nice people, 2009-08-01

When I purchased my boat I had a short-haul done for my survey. The service was fantastic. They actually charged me less than I was quoted on the phone. After purchase I left the boat there for two months before sailing it south. When I spent a couple of days on the boat before sailing south they were great in helping me get ready and helping me find things in town. A real class operation.
