Superb, very calm, modern, clean, Barbara was awesome. Great to be able to uber to anything close by and still boat around beautiful area.

Excellent Marina, 2015-11-30

Hands down a 5 star marina with resort style and feel. Dockmaster Sergeo provided excellent service.

We only encounter a small issue when scheduled fuel delivery. Apparently, the marina management just came up with new restriction for not allowing transients to get fuel delivered. They turned my delivery truck away.

What a great surprise!, 2015-06-22

If possible - this place is better than the last time we stayed!!! Sergio is now the Dockmasster and well deserved. They finished the construction for the marina lounge and it's beyond words. I've never seen a marina office this beautiful. It has everything including a gym! The heads and showers are off the charts! Staying at the marina let's you enjoy all the amenities of this club!!!! And there's a shuttle that takes you to the Mall and Publix! This is one of the best kept secrets imaginable!

We've stayed at William's Island multiple times and they are always the best!!! Sergio is fantastic! I called the marina office to see if they had a local boat electrician...instead of giving us a name and number, he sent over Sergio (at a prior job he did electronics!) Within minutes Sergio fixed our TV problems. Saving us $$$ and time. And LukFuel once again filled us up. On time and cheaper than any one around.

Williams Island is a members/owners island. So when you stay at the marina you gert access to all the facilities - including the pool, fitness center, restaurants and spa! The dockhands are wonderful and only to happy to help.

There is also a hair salon on the grounds - not affiliated with the club but they too are great!

We called LukFuel for diesel and they came right to the dock and were about $1 cheaper per gallon with the Active Captain discount. There are 2 basins - north and south. The south is where the pool is and the heads (no laundry) but it's easier to fuel up on the north dock and the Aventura free shuttle stops at the north dock. It runs a loop tp Publix, Fresh Market and the Aventura Maill. This is an excellent stop.

What's not to like? Beautiful indoor and outdoor pool, spa with sauna and steamroon. Beautiful showers with complimentary shower gel, shampoo etc. Complimentary laundry, fitness and computer center. Knowledgeable dock
personnel. Nothing short of EXCELLENT!

Williams Island Marina, 2014-03-30
Captain: , Sandwich (722)

Once the 40,000 square foot Dock Master complex complete this will be a 5-star rated marina. Mariners have access to Williams Island residence amenities but bath/showers not available 24/7. The grounds are beautiful with a promenade around the island and with access to an outdoor pool, indoor pool, tennis courts, and spa makes for an upscale stay. Walking distance to grocery stores (Publix and Market Fresh) and restaurants (Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza!)

Excellent stop, 2013-11-03
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale (93)

This quiet marina makes an excellent break. The staff go above and beyond (thanks Marty!) to help, and the location is protected yet convenient for Fresh Market and Starbucks about a 20 minute walk away. We stayed for four days during the Ft Lauderdale boat show and thanks to a previous comment here we asked if there was a boat show rate, and they gave us a free night. The day of departure we got a free pump out and the marina manager said there was no check out time so no rush. How nice is that? With a superb heated pool and bar/restaurant plus lots of other facilities, this place has practically everything. We'll definitely be back.

Great stop, 2013-09-22
Captain: , Hope Springs Marina, Fredericksburg, Va. (30)

I would like to echo the previous reviews. Would love to stay longer but didn't have a monthly rate. Very pricey if staying longer than several days. Monthly rate would be nice. Sergio is supposed to look into it.

Definately nice to stop. Spa and tennis is superb.

Fantastic Marina, 2013-09-10
Captain: , Hobe Sound, FL (10)

We emailed ahead to reserve a slip on our way from Hobe Sound to the Keys. Bill responded quickly and confirmed the availability of a slip. Upon our arrival we radioed ahead and the deckhands were on the outside perimeter awaiting our arrival and to help us with directions to our slip.

They were quick to help us get tied up, and the electric connected. Then they took us on a tour of the marina, spa, pools and tennis courts on the golf cart. I highly recommend and compliment the service we were given.

Excellent Place to Stop in North Miami, 2011-12-14
Captain: , Beverly Hills, Michigan (20)

Williams Marina is a superb place to stop along the ICW in North Miami. We intended to stay only a couple days but stayed six instead. The Marina staff was extraordinarily helpful. Because we had been to the Miami boat show, we were given a special boat show rate (stay two nights and get the third free). In December none of the Miami marinas are bargains but the Williams Island rate was among the best we found and the three for two deal made it even better.

The marina has free pump out (and when I had to fax a lengthy document found out that the fax was also free). The marina is extraordinarily well protected from the wind in the south basin. (We were told this is an official insurance approved "hurricane hole.") The north marina apparently is more susceptiible to wind and may be a bit shallower.

When we arrived the staff gave us a tour of the marina and the adjoining residential/resort complex. That complex has several restaurants, a very nice spa with covered lap pool, a salon etc. The marina staff gave us a face dock tie up that was right next to the outdoor pool (which serves food and drinks throughout the day) and has an adjoining bath house that was top notch and that the marina staff left unlocked during the nighttime hours so we could use it if we wished.

The marina is about one half mile from Route 1 where there is a Fresh Market. It is about a mile from the huge Aventura Mall which is surrounded by the usual cadre of mall remora-like stores such as Bed Bath & Beyond etc. We biked to these areas several times during our stay.

The only negative is that the resort amenities and restaurants are
VERY expensive (but I suppose that should not be surprise since it is a residential resort complex).

We will definitely stay here again on our way north in the spring.
