Better to anchor out here, 2016-08-05

Staff is friendly but the facility is worn out. Definitely shower on your boat. The Alabama BBQ is pretty good.

Interesting mix of serious fishing vessels and sailboats!, 2015-08-06

Spent one night here. Because we are big we where shipped off to the commercial section right next to a large industrial fishing plant. Not quite what we where expecting but once off the dock we enjoyed the little strip of resturants and ice cream pallors. Rode our bikes a few miles to a nice grocery store. Ate a superb meal at 'The Fish Shack'.

Good stop is you need some rest., 2012-11-01

Access from the Pacific is straight forward (assuming you have chartplotter and/or charts). It can be hard to find the transient dock if you have not been in to Westport previously. Lots of fishing activity in here - commercial and charter. The commercial boats can be active all night so bright lights and noise should be expected. The public restrooms are adequate but a fair walk from the docks. Electricity and water are available and the overnight moorage rates are good. Dining oportunities are quite limited.

It's the only place to stop on WA coast, 2012-05-07

Due to incorrect information with the location of transient dock on Westport Marina's website and in Douglas cruising guide, we had an OK stay at a very messy Float #21. We arrived on Saturday and Marina office was closed. No shorepower stantions but wide and open slips. Located adjacent to the boat ramp, fishermen used the docks at the end of the day to clean their catch.

We later learned that Float #6 is available for transients and a better location.
