Reviews for Western Carolina Sailing Club
PRIVATE MEMBERS ONLY SAILING CLUB, 2012-06-20
Captain: , Green Cove Springs FL (1380)

As a member since 1981 and Past Commodore 2001 and served on the Board of Stewards for some 25 years i am very familar with WCSC. Located on COE Lake Hartwell bordering S.C. and GA offers Lake side Camping, Moorings and Docks for it's Membership.
Inner Harbor Docks/Moorings protected by floating breakwater at entrance to harbor. Very Active Sailboat racing program year round and in the summer months a Jr sailing program. Inexpensive sailboat dry storage on trailers and wet storage on floating docks. Pump out facility. Nice club house and regular social programs. Strictly a Sailboat faciltiy. No power boats permitted on docks or moorings. No electric or water on docks and no fuel. Nearet Fuel is at Portman Marina across the lake.. Thus the 3 star rating. BI-Lo and Ingles super markets 2 miles away. Very friendly membership. If your looking for a sailing club with sailing and racing activiies this is the place. WCSC is the Best Kept secret in S.C.
