Excellent service and grounds, 2015-04-01

Great service - great views - staff is accomodating, helpful and friendly. They actually care and dont just show up for a paycheck here. A nice place to stay.

Very Clean; Very Friendly, 2014-03-09
Captain: , Wells Cove, Grasonville, MD (11)

Wells Cove is a very nice place to keep your boat. I've only had a slip there for a few months, but have already paid ahead for next year. Wonder full people, attentive management, clean facilities, very friendly.

I have been here as a summer home for three seasons. Excellent floating docks. New management. Great food and nightlife within 1/4 mile.

Wells Cove Marina is the Cleanest in MD, 2012-09-26
Captain: , Philadelphia (296)

Number one Bathhouse facilities ! Allways clean, stocked with soaps, etc. from Hilton Hotel.
Decks are cleaned every day with brush & hose, no bird droppings to step in.
Having a new marina dockmaster this year paid off handsomely !!

Very nice facilities, 2011-09-01

We had a great experience here. The place is brand new, and the facilities are excellent. Close proximity to restaurants.

New Marina but not for transients, 2011-06-28
Captain: , Austin, Texas (1774)

This is not a typical marina for transients. We were needing to find a marina on short notice, and the Dockmaster, Tom R., did find us a slip for a month while we left the boat. It is a beautiful new marina with floating docks, clean restrooms, a pool and right next to a Hilton Garden Inn. My issue is not with the marina itself, but the management. Do not believe what he tells you. Over the phone, the dockmaster tells us the rate for the month, and he knows our boat length and beam. Once we were tied up, and had a plane to catch that afternoon, he informs us that we are really taking up two slips, so the price is double.
Upon our return to the boat, Tom had promised twice that when we needed a car, either he would allow us to use his to reprovision or pay for a taxi. When it came time to do so, he acted like I was crazy to even suggest that. When confronted with what he promised, he states, "I am so busy, I have no idea what I said, but all I know is that we do not provide a courtesy car nor pay for your cab."
The point is that a facility can be first rate, but the people running it can ruin a business. Avoid this place.
