I think its a shame that this marina's rating is dragged down by a six year old repair complaint. This is one of the nicest marina's we've stayed at since beginning the Loop. The facilities are first rate, the service amazing (ride to town, scheduled pumpout, ride to get propane and on and on). The docks are as nice as you'll find anywhere and everything seems clean swept daily. I know the places in Petoskey get more advertisement -- but for peace and quite (especially needed after Mackinac Island) and an absolutely five star experience -- this should be your stop heading south on the east side of Lake Michigan.

Great location, terriffic service, 2013-09-04

The Walstrom Marine marina is located about six blocks from downtown area of Harbor Springs. If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the noise and bussle of the city marina, this is the place. Bathrooms and shower facilities are very, very nice and beautifully maintained as is the rest of the marina. Management even employs a "spider patrol" that cleans the up the spiders daily! More marinas employ similar patrols. Pump out is at the slip. You can do it yourself at no charge or ask the staff to do it for a charge of $10.00. The town of Harbor Springs is a jewel. To really enjoy it rent a slip at Walstroms. Call the the general number and ask for Dave Spence, he's the dock master.

Great marina with a friendly and service oriented staff in a great location!, 2011-10-28

When it comes to northern Michigan you can't find a better place than Harbor Springs and Walstrom Marine is located right in the heart of the action in downtown with excellent sales and service departments.

Our experience with Walstrom Marine has been outstanding. This is a first class operation!

Very poor maintenance experience, 2009-08-18

I hired Walstrom's to install a new autopilot. They installed it at an angle where you can't hardly read the display and ran two screws into the opening for the hatch. The autopilot still doesn't work correctly in that it won't talk to my chartplotter or Coastal explorer. Walstrom told me to troubleshoot it with the factory. On top of all this they are very expensive charging me a huge markup on the equipment.
