Reviews for Village Marina at Little Harbor
Nice marina in the middle of nowhere., 2014-09-16

Very friendly folks. Pump out, fuel, ice, wifi all available. They had issues with WiFi, but apparently have it fixed now. If you draft more than about 6 feet, then you need to transit at high tide and then it can be questionable. Floating concrete docks and well protected.

Great find!, 2014-07-16

Would have given 5 stars but for shallow depths entering, but well marked. I have 5 foot draft, best to enter at or near high tide. Protected marina with water, ice, electricity, pools, beach, restaurants, clean bathrooms and showers. Great sunsets. Dockmaster Jerry is the best! Very reasonable rates.

Great Day Trip for Neighborhood Boat Club, 2014-07-06
Captain: , St Petersburg (50)

This review is based on a trip our neighborhood boat club took in late June. A bit of background - We live across the bay on the west side of St Petersburg, FL near the Treasure Island Bridge. Each month from March - October we schedule an on-water event (restuarant, Scavenger Hunt, raft up, even kayak caroling at X-mas) Most participating boats are of the runabout variety so an overnight trip is a big deal. This was our first overnight of the season. 10 boat with 35 people hit Little Harbor (LH) for the weekend. It turned out to be a fantastic experience.

LH has a new policy in-place in which the slip fee is waived if you stay in one of the resort's facilities. This was a big draw for the runabout crowd. Jerry, the dockmaster, put us all on one pier right by the hotel pool. He was excellent during the preceeding week, calling to confirm boat counts as well as any special needs we may have.

Everyone had a great time and I do believe this trip gave some folks more confidence to head out and explore other area marinas.

The resort is somewhat isolated but that was not a hinderance to us as we were there to used their facilities and had no need to go off property. Their two restuarants are adequate.

A little bit of Paradise., 2014-07-03
Captain: , St. Petersburg, FL (592)

We come here from St. Pete for weekend getaways. Great facility with almost no one around. Pool, hot tub, restaurant, outdoor grills, beach. Be sure to get key cards for access to the condo facilities. Bliss draws 5.5 and we come and go with no problem with a tide of +1 or better.

Nice marina, 2013-06-17
Captain: , Palmetto (412)

This is a %u201Cnice%u201D marina - well protected and quiet. The fixed wooden docks are in good condition and the electrical and water connections were functional. The marina staff usually doesn%u2019t answer the radio, so be prepared to call via cell phone for slip assignments or assistance, the transient dock is E-dock.
The heads and showers are in the condo building (accessed by key card), they are clean and well maintained.
A new little restaurant recently opened (Jun 2013); it is located next to the large pool and had a %u201Cfast-food%u201D menu plus beer/wine.
The nearby restaurant, Sundown Grill (also Bar and Tiki hut) is a great draw at this location, and is always busy on the weekends.

Nice Place, 2011-06-10

harbor master was there to grab the lines, then took us on a tour. Nice facilities. Resturant within walking distance. Quiet at night. Nice docks.
