The location is the saving grace, 2016-07-31

Solid if a little tired, shore power was a copnstant nightmare, otherwise a short walk to provisions and hire cars etc.
Well sheltered.

July 2015 Visit, 2015-07-26

Not a great place. They forgot to give us a pass key to the dock gate. When we went and got one it was for the wrong dock. Then they never gave us a pass key to the bathroom. Showers are $3 for 7 minutes. We paid $2.30 a foot for a cat to dock for the night. The dock attendent was very confused about how to hook our electricity up so my son had to help him. There was a straight $10 fee for electricity, so you can check out the night before. This allows you to go early in the morning as the front desk doesn't open until 8:30am on weekends. Garabge was free. The restaurant was mediocre with few choices and on the pricey side. The drinks were good. The boats were loud and partying and nothing was done. They were going until 3am. We will not be back to this marina. They are close to the souvenir shopping. Crafts Alive and Sunny Caribe are great places to go. Provisioning is the best at Riteway Pasea Estate. It is pretty much an American grocery store with everything you would need and great selections. and Liquor at TICO

Not bad but hardly great. $3.00 shower or 7 minutes. Needs major facelift.

Not bad, not great, 2014-03-09

Stayed one night. Marina staff was helpful and nice to deal with. Prices okay at 1.50 per foot. Good docks. Right in town but town is a major disappointment. Few good eating spots and less interesting shopping. Not a great place to provision. For a capitol city it came up short on many levels.

Stayed one night before picking up Charter boat. Hotel was clean and quite adequate, bar was a bit pricey but the food was pretty good. No elevators so be prepared to lug up the luggage.

BVI let down, 2011-04-23

Having stayed in IGY facilities before I was amazed at how dirty this place was, not to mention rude office personnel. Power cords running all over with water lines the same way. Junk floating in marina along with strong sewage smell, trash strewn all over. IGY needs to come in and revamp personnel that work there.

We picked up our Lagoon 440 here and spent a couple of nights in the Marina. The Marina is well kept and the staff were friendly.

It can get hot in the Marina as the hills around the area block the breezes. Even with all the hatches open it was a bit overwhelming. Only time over the two weeks we spent there that we felt we needed AC.

Easy access to stores, laundry, and restaurants.

Nice clean marina and small hotel with pool and showers and a restaurant (a little pricey).
