Reviews for Vilanova de Arosa
Vilanova - a gem of a marina, 2013-11-14
Captain: , Kinsale, Cork, Ireland (257)

This is a modern marina, small but well equipped, in a nice small town, very well sheltered. The marina is well run and there is a local chandlry attached.
There is a large local fishing fleet, mainly mussel boats, so every trade and expertise for boat/engine/electronics are all available locally at what is reported to be good prices.
The town has several restaurants which at first glance don't seem remarkable, but opposite the fishing harbour there is 1 excellent seafood restaurant.
Shopping typical of a small town.
Taxi's available to bring you to Villagarcia or Isla Arousa to explore, or in the former, to get the train to Santiago.
This would be a good place to stay while visiting Cambados, another small local town and the capital of the Albarino wine region, also worth a visit. Cambados is not accessible by anything other than very shallow draft craft.
