Reviews for Viking Yachting Center
Quiet out of the way full service marina, 2017-06-22

Update June 2017. This was our fourth week of longer stay at Viking. Still very clean facility, especially for a working boat yard. Evidence of dock repairs, new decking where needed. Showers still very clean, work on some small jobs satisfactory.

Viking continues to maintain great marina. Sherry in the office is tops. This time Viking did some repairs to a broken foot rest. It was a little more expensive than I think it should have been, but it was done when needed and on very short notice to Viking.

Below is from previous stays at Viking in 2012, 2013.

Viking is less than 10 miles off the ICW, plenty of water all the way. Floating docks with wide walkways. Screened enclosures near all the docks and by the pool. Very friendly local owners, and dog friendly as well. Restaurant on site. Staff very helpful, able to complete most any work you need done. Only negative is distance from grocery shopping.

Had our boat hauled and stored on the hard Oct 2013, just before Sandy. Most boats here got through the storm with no damage. A few boats floated off their blocks, but 95% were OK. Viking is a ways up the Mullica and Bass Rivers. Viking also did a good job on some gel-coat repairs and re-bedded a leaking hatch.

I've kept my boat here for several years over the winter and love the people and the way they care for the boat. They are investing in the marina with a new restaurant and outdoor deck. Cheri is the best.

Nice Facility, 2007-06-29

This Marina is formerly known as the Bass River Marina. Rennovation have made this a great location for summer rental. The facility has a nice pool and well maintained property. The water is a mix of fresh and salt water. The main drawback is the lack of on-site restaurant/bar or other near-by attractions. The location provides great protection from storms.
