Approach

There is a green bouy inside, follow the sign 'Visiting Yachts', call the harbor patrol on 12. A night approach is straight forward as the harbor is well lit. Stay to your left, the channel is marked by four buoys, as you enter the outer harbor. Work your way around to the right where the pontoons are located. Berth there, mind your depth. Call the harbour master and arrange for a time to relocate your vessel to one of three inner harbors depending on your draft. Make sure to double check your position and depth before saying completing dockage.

A Wonderful and Interesting Harbor, 2013-10-03
Captain: , San Francisco, CA (171)

Crossing a sill in order to slip your yacht is not something that happens to me everyday. I enjoyed the 'doing' immensely. St. Peter Port is a stunning old world town with an interesting harbor, great restaurants and wonderful walking town. The locals may be a little tourist tired but the prices are reasonable. The Castle Coronet is a must see while there. Fairly easy in and out, day or night.

Limited access due to tides, 2013-04-11
Captain: , Southampton , UK (1327)

There is a good waiting dock that is free whilst you wait to get in here. It is a very tight marina so expect to use all your boat handling skills.

Good facilities walking distance from the town.

You can dry out against a wall if you need to work on your bottom.

St Peterport Harbour, 2011-07-25
Captain: , PooleUK (933)

A very sheltered harbour with visiting berths on floating pontoons (tender or water taxi ashore) and a tidal sill to the inner marina.
One of my all time favorate harbours. It nestles in the charming town, with great provisions and shopping on hand. Full of the flavors of Europe and charming to boot. Beware the town still closes on Sundays and bank holidays.
