Reviews for Van Isle Marina
Yippee Great, 2016-06-05
Captain: , Seattle (40)

Fuel Dock is located right at entrance and manned by very helpful staff. There is lot moorage here so it can be a long walkk toi the shore. Facilities all work and are clean. Laundry open 24/7 with combination. Best WI FI reception ever experienced at a marina. Walk to Sydney about 2 miles (all flat and easy). BC transit stop less than 1/4 mile and an all day pass $5.00 will take you all over Victoria, Sooke. Swartz Bay (Walk down hill to Stonehouse pub worth the walk) Bus runs Regular schedule even weekends and holidays.

Really nice overnight, 2015-03-21

The restaurant is excellent too. One of the best brunches we have ever had.

Well run, relatively sheltered, easy access to cruising destinations.

Gemini-2011, 2013-08-09
Captain: , Blaine, WA (75)

We have had the opportunity to stay @ Van Isle Marina a couple of times for some minor repairs. I would recommend this marina as a good fueling or repair location if needed. As mentioned in another review the staff is excellent, nothing but professionalism and extremely helpful. I would stay here again if needed.

A nice Marina North of Sidney B.C., 2013-04-11
Captain: , Port Angeles, WA (130)

We have stayed here two different times, and plan to stay here in the future. Very comfortable, can almost feel like home!

Best Marina around, 2012-08-21
Captain: , Sidney BC (20)

Great location, excellent amenities and constant and regular shore power supply. Clean, excellent staff and all services (restaurant now closed, they need to open one soon).

Great Fuel Stop, 2011-03-19
Captain: , Sidney BC (582)

Never tied up here although it is a great looking marina. Great place to fuel up. Even when its busy never have to wait very long and there is more space on the south side of the dock. Some of the best service I have seen anywhere in terms of helping you tie up and get fueled. Very clean washrooms and environmentally conscious operation.

Friendly staff and good quality restuarants, 2011-01-30
Captain: , Olalla, WA (342)

We stayed near the base of the marina for the day as one of our friends engines was getting repaired. We ate at the two restuarants and they were very good with excellent service.

Great place to leave your boat, 2011-01-06
Captain: , Friday Harbor, WA (490)

2011 This is a TOP marina with both boat houses as well as slips
A great staff and provides detailing if you need it.

Great restruant on site, but a good walk to Sidney

Great Canadian Hospitality, 2008-03-04
Captain: , Campbell River, BC. Canada (7)

Top notch marina with friendly staff. The "bull rails" are some of the best!

Friendly place, 2007-05-21
Captain: , Seattle, WA (437)

We first went to the fuel dock for a pump-out and gas for the dinghy. Staff in khaki shorts, blue shirts and PFD helped us tie up. Then pointed us to our slip as the marina arrangement is a little funny. Only complaint in the slip is bull rails instead of cleats (it is Canada). Lots of nice boats here. We feel small.
