Reviews for Blue Haven Marina and Resort
Great if you are not on a budget!, 2017-05-12
Captain: , Oregon (386)

Excellent facility with local store and restaraunts. A bit Pricey but is a good marina with concrete docks, friendly staff, and resort amenities.

Resort Marina , 2017-05-04
Captain: , Orange Beach, AL (260)

Lovely Marina facilities. Rate is now $2.30/ft so it is pricey but worth it for a quick stop over.

Highly recommend requesting the pilot boat for assistance on the way in, as channel marks were not accurate. We draw 5.5 and had no problems with pilot help. Current rips thru Marina so slack tide would be advisable.

Make sure you tell them how long you are staying otherwise you will poay the daily price even if you stay for a long time, 2017-02-08
Captain: , DIllon, CO (100)

Marina facilities are great and the staff on the docks are helpful. Access to the resort is nice as well. Restaurants are awesome! The docks are very long to be prepared to walk A LOT to go anywhere in the marina. Fishermen are super nice and gave us a whole wahoo.

Make sure to say you are staying for a week or more (even if you dont plan to just in case weather or any other reason makes you stay longer than originally planned) when you check in. If you don't then you will automatically be charged the daily rate and they will NOT adjust it afterwards - even if you stay for longer than a week. For how great the marina is this just seems like a scam to get more money.

great marina great staff, 2017-02-04
Captain: , st thomas usvi (30)

This is year 2 staying at Blue haven and as expected the Marina is in great shape , amenities are very nice and of course the staff could not be more helpful.

Little expensive but great, 2017-01-22
Captain: , South America (778)

Great marina with a great resort. We paid U$2 per feet but in other hand we used all resort facilities. There are free bikes available - we used it to ride to IGA grocery in Grace Bay.

This is the best marina in TCI with a very friendly staff.

Love it so much I end up spending 2.5 months !, 2016-02-23
Captain: , St Martin (161)

The marina is more than I am accustomed to pay, but I love it so much that I end up staying for 2.5 months!
Great staff, and Adam is the most professional marina manager I have met!
Only the 2nd time I give a 5 Star in a marina%u2026

3 nice, clean bathroom (each with restroom & shower) open from 07.00 until when the bar closes (23.00?).
Very fast hard wire internet connection at each pedestal (make sure to bring a long enough ethernet cable)
They just installed Wifi at the dock when I was leaving, but it was available at the marina office and resort.

Very nice pool, pool bar, small beach with hamac, towels provided, volley ball court, billiard, gym, restaurants, etc.
Wonderfull neighbors, great atmosphere, many get together and parties.

Wish there was a laundry facility, only available is the send away at insane price of $4/lbs.
AGI gourmet has a great variety of product (lamb, duck, etc. ) with tourist price and is 30 min away on bicycle, any other grocery stores (used by locals) will require a car.

Free shuttle that will bring you to the fish fry on Thursday as well Alexandria and the Beach House resorts on Grace Bay with beautiful beach where they loan you hobie cat, paddle board, kayak and snorkeling.

Nice resort style marina, 2015-12-11
Captain: , Newport (490)

Beautiful facilities included with your slip are access to three resort properties, restaurant, bar/grill and pool with a swim up bar. The only downside is the wifi even with aamplifier is unusable. Also there is no laundry facility and the charge is $4/lb to send out. However the staff was great and the free shuttle to Alexandra resort on Grace bay was a nice perk.

1st class marina, 2015-04-23
Captain: , San Marcos, TX (865)

We just left Blue Haven heading south after spending 5 weeks (3/16/15-4/22/15) here. We left out boat here while we flew home to the US for 2 of the 5 weeks and spent 3 weeks enjoying Provo. Outstanding staff, docks, facilities. Previous reviews are accurate so I won't repeat details, but we will stay here again. The shuttle to sister properties on Grace Bay is a big plus. Having a pool, gym, restaurant, bar and beach on site is a nice treat. Recommendations: 'Somewhere' restaurant for good Tex-Mex, Caicos Adventures for great scuba diving, Grace Bay Rentals for rent car. Wi-Fi on docks needs improvement, but works OK.

Update as of 03-24-15, 2015-04-05
Captain: , Destin, FL (514)

Daily rate $1.75/ft; Fuel $5.40/gal; water $.12/gal; elec. $.70/kWh. Cars from Mac Motors avail at office. Laundry $4.00 per lb- no facility avail onsite. Take to Pablo's on Leeward Hwy- $9.00/load wash and dry- ready in 2-3 hrs. Time arrival for ebb tide or dock into the current- saw several boats have trouble with 3-4kt max flood. Free internet near office- weak signal on docks. Best comm deal is 15gb of data from Digicell at $51.00 on sim for your device (good for 1 mo.) and Islandcom prepaid cell ($.20/min to US). Offices in same plaza as IGA market. Restaurants and small (expensive) market onsite for necessities. Great staff!

Clarifications, 2014-12-22
Captain: , On Board mv Seamantha (130)

We stayed here for a week waiting for a weather window at the end of November. A top rate marina with very helpful staff. Adam even spent an hour or so reveiwing the various anchorages on the Caicos Banks with us before our departure. We very much enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this marina.
Some clarifications need to be made on the rates. The cost is $1.50 per ft not per meter and electricity is now $0.70 per KWH. We were also told that the "stay 7 day pay for 5" deal was over, but they honored it for us.
The Leeward entrance channel was straight forward. The marina piloted us in, but we had no problem departing on our own.
There is a mini-market on site for some groceries, but if you want to do some sightseeing, rent a car and include a visit to the Graceway grocery stores and other food markets.
Only negatives...pump out didn't work and there is a strong current flowing thru the marina except around slack. Suggest to take this into account when docking

Excellent facility, reasonable rates, 2014-12-17
Captain: , Miami Beach (223)

Previous reviewers have not exaggerated Blue Haven's fine infrastructure, amenities and service. It's all good. $1.50/ft plus metered electricity and water. Room rates for the on-site resort hotel run into the hundreds yet marina guests have full access to the place. Only one (minor) nit: no self-service laundry (I guess the mega-yachts don't need one). It is necessary to rent a car or hire a taxi to reach town and/or shopping via the Leeward Highway.

While BHM staff is very friendly and helpful, comprehensive local knowledge, advice and support services are also available from Belinda Martin, the %u2018Aquamarine Concierge%u2019 (649.331.7944; She's a serious sportfisher and local entrepreneur with years of experience helping vessels visiting Provo.

Dont anchor.. stay here!, 2014-06-30
Captain: , Sarnia, Ontario (130)

Ask for the special rate.. stay 7 days pay for 5...
We always anchor out but that would be silly with a place like this available...
Free use of their 3 resorts.. free shuttle between them and most anywhere in town if they are not busy..
Free bikes to use.. we rode all over the island..
Call on VHF and they will escourt you in and out of the channel
Dont miss this place..

Brian Ducharme on Destination

Can not say enough good things about this place. They have top notch office help that go out of their way to answer any questions you may have or help if needed. The dock hands are friendly and helpfull. Any trash you may have is picked up at your slip thru out the day.

The marina has gas, diesel, water and pump out service. Very well keep. On shore they have a horseshoe pit, vollyball court, large scale chess set, swimming pool w/a swim up bar, lounge chairs w/umbrellas, fire pits with comfortable seating, resturant and rooms. An ideal place to have friends fly in for a quick visit.

Rental cars are avaiable from town. The car rental company will drive to the marina, pick you up and drive you back to their office to fill out the paper work. The rental will cost about $50 a day.

In town you will find many resturants, businesses, big resorts, just about anything you can think of.

Treated like a mega yacht, 2014-03-12
Captain: , Bardstown, KY (150)

Sorry for the typos and sentences that make no sense. Ipad autocorrects and Bluecharts makes it very hard to correct. Note on BlueCharts, VERY in accurate on Leeward Passage. read the water, ignore your charts if using BlueCharts.

The folks here treated us like we were in one of the multimillion dollar boats. The facilities are top notch, with a pool, bars, restaurant, etc. We draw 7.1 and navigated the channel easily with advise from the marina on channel 14. Plenty of depth in the marina, and everything is brand new. Water is cheap at .12 per gallon, no minimum on water or electric.

We rented a car from Grace Bay Rentals and they brought it to us and dropped it off for $47.84. We needed the car because the marina is a bit far out, but we paid less for the marina. My the car together than the dockage alone in most of the Bahamas cost.

Up and Coming Mega Yacht Marina, 2013-04-19
Captain: , Crown Bay Marina, St. Thomas, USVI (100)

It use to be Niki Beach Resort and Marina, now it is called BLUE HAVEN RESORT & MARINA....Upgrades happening everywhere and Willis & Adam were a pleasure to deal with. Met by an abundance of staff from the time we pulled in, Line Handlers, Yacht Washers & Interior Cleaners as well as the Dock Master and his bosses, really a first class place and getting better everyday. If your a MEGA YACHT or not, very nice place and only $1.25 per foot/.60 per KWH & .15 per gallon for water. Nice and deep too from Leeward Cut enterance and all around the Marina.
