Reviews for Trident Yacht Club
South Docks are Tricky, 2016-08-31
Captain: , Toronto (482)

The south dock, which is where visitors usually end up can be very challengeing. The prevailing wind, combined with the river current make docking on up stream docks quite cahllenging. If you can find a down stream dock life is much easier.

Members seem to think very highly of themselves. I didn't think much of the place.

Stay here Friday is amazing, 2014-08-06
Captain: , Pointe-Claire Yacht Club (10)

The people are welcoming and very smiling
We were charmed by the steep terrain and heavily wooded
The arrival of high winds is a bit difficult, it is better to enter the starboard side of the marina

Excellent club, 2012-02-26
Captain: , Olcott, NY (2536)

We've been stopping at TYC for years and absolutely love this club.
Their front lawn with all of the old trees is just awesome.
Facilities are first rate as are the folks who run the club.
Although a bit out of the way for shopping, there are usually club members who will give you a ride into town.

Friedliest club on the river, 2011-07-29
Captain: , Toronto, ON (1749)

Great place, truly hospitable.... try to be there for a Friday night.... great little bar (only on Fridays) and a fantastic communal spirit.

Trident YC, 2009-02-22
Captain: , Whitby (1653)

Nice YC with good reciprocity with most clubs on Lake Ontario and the ST. Lawrence. Offers slips for larger boats than many YCs on Lake Ontario can offer. Friendly club. Great location for access to Thousand Islands.
