Reviews for Town Dock North
Great Access to Town, 2016-04-26
Captain: , Longboat Key, FL (122)

Dinghy's Only! Don't try to pull up your boat as water may be too shallow at low tide. As the official "Town Dock" isn't as receptive to tie-ups, this little-used dock is in great shape and provides direct access to Stop & Shop and Home Goods (one of the best places for buying your nautical decorations for your boat). West marine is also about 1/4 mile down the road.

North Dock convenient to shopping, laundry, movie theater, 2014-07-18
Captain: , Portsmouth, RI (51)

Beautiful floating dock. Water taxi drops you off or tie up your own dinghy. Stop & Shop supermarket across the street. Turn left from the dock and walk 1/4 mile to find West Marine, King Kullen grocery, a great laundromat, a super well-stocked wine store (and liquor), and a 6 theater movie house. several restaurants.

Great dock, 2014-06-17

Good Mooring-facilities,very kind and helpful Harbour Taxi, which is included in the Mooring fee. Two nights of free stay. Beem there with two kids. Theres a very nice playground in a small park up the street, 10 Minutes to walk. Long Island Rail Road LIRR takes you within 45 Minutes to Pen Station

Great Dinghy Dock, 2012-10-16
Captain: , New York (209)

This new dock is right across the street from a big grocery store and a west marine. Also a great barbecue place that is a new addition to the area.

Very convenient dinghy dock here!, 2012-10-04

Use the new town dinghy dock to the NORTH on Shore Rd, for easy access to Stop and Shop and West Marine. The new dock is right across the street from Stop and Shop grocery store. There is a very nice Italian restaurant, Amalfi (516-883-4191), to the left of the Home Goods store in the Stop n Shop strip mall. Also a good Chinese take out place, Gum How Kitchen (516-944-8713), just past Burger King in the same strip mall, before you get to Amalfi's. Wine store and Pet food store there also.
Very nice walking/running path along Shore rd.
This new dinghy dock/town pier is very convenient.
