Reviews for Tobay Beach and Boat Basin
Nice docks, 2015-08-30
Captain: , Farmingdale NY (80)

I'm a resident, and it is very reasonably priced place with great docks. The two drawbacks are the long walk across the parking lot to the ocean, and the regulars who take up residence there for the season aren't always very welcoming to those who only go occasionally.
There is supposed to be a 10 day limit on stays, but some boats don't leave all season.

Excellent spot if you are a TOB resident, 2015-08-02
Captain: , Massapequa, NY (30)

This is my home port. Nice facilities, docks are in great shape. Shops open on weekends and 2 restaurants are a short walk away.

Tobay Town Boat Basin, 2014-09-11
Captain: , Wantagh NY (581)

I have been here a number of times with our yacht club and not a big fan, the resident boaters give you the stink eye like you are intruding in their domain, but if you can get past that the beach is nice and the restaurants are very good, just be prepared for plenty of drunk party's on most docks.
Also no dogs allowed

Great Pump Out, 2014-06-23
Captain: , Amityville, NY (282)

Free pump out available to anyone is easily accessible at a floating deep water dock. Pump out boat services boats docked in marina.

Best Marina on Long Island South Shore, 2011-09-29
Captain: , Lindenhurst, NY (316)

There is no other facility with as much to offer on Long Island's South Shore with an excellent marina, 2 very good restaurants, a bay beach, an ocean beach and a children's water park (all seasonal).
This facility is intended for use primarily by Town Residents.

Residents only, 2010-07-29
Captain: , Bay Shore, NY (490)

TOBAY is for town residents only. You might get a slip during the week. It is very protected, and has a decent restaurant. It also has a small anchorage; but is not recommended on weekends due to traffic.
