There has been some confusion about the pricing structure. For transient dockage the charge is by the length of the boat (LOA) and boats are placed in a dock that is sufficient for its size. If a customer would like to stay for a month or more the charge is by whichever is greater, the LOA or the length of dock. This is to ensure each boat fits the dock. If a customer wants a larger slip they can have one, but would need to pay for the larger slip.

To address the insurance and boat information: It is a requirement by the City of Titusville that each boater provide insurance and boat registration in order to keep a boat at the marina.

Reviews for Titusville Marina
Stayed one night while goig south on ICW, 2016-09-20
Captain: , Oak Island, NC (50)

I docked in some strong cross winds, but the staff was there to help me in and to spring me off the fuel dock. I was then helped into a slip for the night. Everyone was super friendly. The bathrooms are being renovated but you can see that improvements were being made. The liveaboards here are super friendly and helpful. Good places to get food and a beer in town as well. Quams I think may have had the best burger I have had in a while.

Titusville Muni Marina, 2016-09-19
Captain: , New Smyrna Beach, FL (143)

Easy in and out of the ICW. Great service at the fuel dock, pumpout dock, and tieing up. Facilities were in good condition except the electricity. We had to reset the 50 amp breakers 3 times each on 2 different posts before the attendant hooked us to a post that finally worked. It was 90 and humid, so going without AC was not an option. Our boat never pulled more than 40 amps, so it wasn't us.

Walkable to Save a lot. after shopping at Save a lot took a taxi back to marina, $3. Good place to provisioin
in 2010, the West Marine had closed, FRee but weak WiFi.
docks are high, and can be tough to get on and off boat.

Captain: , Annapolis, MD (30)

Nice clean heads. Freindly staff. Big marina with a small marina feel. I would go back for sure.

Good place to stop, 2016-05-05
Captain: , Westport CT (170)

Stopped for one night on way north...very helpful staff and all the basic amenties you need. Not fancy but all works. Only downside is very limited dinning within walking distance.

Just Very Friendly Staff, 2016-05-01
Captain: , Auburn, Maine (396)

Once again, great reasonably priced stop, with some of the nicest staff around. Only glitch, trying to fit our 19 foot beam in an 18 foot slip, quickly remedied when we checked with them before attempting. Repositioned to t-head, and all was well. Bunch of friendly liveaboards and local boat owners on the docks makes for a pleasant stay. No current makes for easy docking.

Stayed here on 10-27-14. Dock staff friendly and helpful Inexpensive washer/dryer setup, clean restrooms, and we had good wi-fi. Short walk to Sav-A-Lot grocery for some essentials--somewhat limited choices, but good enough. We liked this place, and the friendly cadre of boaters who homeport here. Nice dock ambience.

11-11-15 Just an update to thank Mike, the dockhand who talked our 19 ft beam into a 20 ft slip without incident. The office people and staff here are great. Only caveat, the power registered about 208-210 at the pedestal, and we tripped breakers a couple of times, until we reduced our draw pretty significantly.

Confused by the name?, 2016-04-27
Captain: , Wanakena, NY (568)

This marina is known as the Titusville Marina as well as the Titusville Municipal Marina. Ten percent discount to Boat US members on a $1.60 ft. . Good staff service at dock and office. Free pump out by getting on a list in the office. You will need to be there when it takes place. Docked on A "t" dock and it's very peaceful and still. Of course the winds are relatively low so I can't speak for higher winds. Save- a -Lot is the grocery store in town.

Consistent Good Stop, 2016-04-23
Captain: , Cape Canaveral (1081)

We've always enjoyed our previous stops here. Friendly and helpful staff, solid docks, clean restrooms, free pump out, and waste oil disposal on site, plus good watering holes on main street just a few blocks away - Playalinda Brewery and Bar IX. We'll be back.

Nice Marina, Great Staff, Nice Town!, 2016-04-14
Captain: , Oriental, NC (30)

I have stopped here many times and always enjoyed this place. The employees have always been professional, friendly, very accommodating. The property is well maintained and clean, located between two very nice city parks. Nice heads and showers, laundry, screen room and shaded picnic tables. The basin provides good protection. The fixed docks are well built with good power and water. No real need for floating docks here as there is very little tide change. The location is some distance from the bridge, so there is no traffic noise. The train tracks are nearby, but the noise from that has never been a problem for me. Titusville offers most everything you need and the locals are very welcoming. Good public bus system or call Best Taxi for great service, nice car, good prices.

As advertised. 4-9-16, 2016-04-11

The Best Marina in East Central Florida????, 2016-04-11
Captain: , Biloxi MS (100)

Easy claim to make I suppose even if the facts speak otherwise. The transient pier (C Pier) is a well worn wooden structure with pilings which have rubbed many a boat - Check them out on the way in and you'll wonder how the boats that rubbed on them must look. It's an unusual pier design in that it doesn't offer a tie point on all 4 corners to keep your boat centered in the slip. One corner of your slip is taken up by a triangular dock box which serves no purpose other than as a place to mount the power and water receptacles I'ts locked so you can't open it) but it's presence means there is no piling or cleat at that corner to secure your boat and that missing corner means backing in isn't practical which is a shame as the short finger piers would make getting off the boat much easier if yiou could back in. Instead of a piling in the missing cornerm there is one directly in front of your anchor. VERY odd and impractical pier design

The pilings are well worn because C pier is wide open to the ICW and every wake or wave runs right into the marina and they are broadside to all the boats. You get bounced around with the incoming wave and bounced around again more when the wave reflects back off the sea wall. You'll use lots of dock lines and fenders and you'll still be getting up in the night trying to keep your boat off the pilings . . . . and then the train sounds like it runs straiight down the pier. The two worst nights sleep I've had in a long time. I would have been much better off in the mooring field

Clean restrooms, great fuel prices or this would be a 2 star review

Great place, great staff, and marina residents, 2016-04-09
Captain: , Wilmington NC (400)

Spent the night 3/17/2016. Had a social gathering at the pavillion. Heavy snacks and sundowners. Just great group of folks. Invited us right in. Marina is very nice and protected. Manatees swimming around between the boats. Very nice well stocked ship store.

Cindy the Dockhand, 2016-04-09

We were only there one night, but Cindy greeted us as if we were annual marina guests
What a pleasure to be treated so very special

We will come back!!, 2016-03-29
Captain: , Colchester VT (380)

We were able to get a really good rate for a slip and stayed on A dock. We planned on 1 night but stayed for 3 waiting on some windy weather and parts for dingy engine. The staff was really accomodating. Tom - was the best!! We found the showers to be pretty good, the laundry was great - new machines - there is a marina next to them that have very good mechanincs (ask for Jeff or Mike!) and the people staying there are really friendly! When the wind pipes up, however, the swell from outside can refract into the interior and provide for a lumpy night. Do not get on C dock if there is going to be wind!. The marina is super dog friendly - and there is a dog park right next door. A walk to town gets you to a CVS, bakery, small grocery store pretty easily. We WILL come back!

Capt David, SV. MoonPearl, 2016-03-07
Captain: , Wilmington, NC (40)

The folks here go out of their way to make you feel at home. Mark met us at the slip and being a catamaran with 21.5' beam and a bit of breeze, it had my attention. The dock man, Mark handled both the bow and stern lines at the same time using the pilings like bollards. He earned my confidence. The dogs love the park next door. (would be 5 if floating docks.)

Great staff, good prices, 2016-03-05
Captain: , Montreal, Canada (10)

We were so satisfied with the friendly staff, the good prices and the services provided at the marina that we decided to make it our home for the next year instead of going back north of Florida to store our boat. Clean bathroom and laundry. Good marina store. Parking to leave a car, can ask for more and the WIFI is just great.

Easy in & out, 2016-02-25
Captain: , Erie, Pa. (1776)

Easy in & out. Nice facilities. Guest on 56 Carver. Stayed on B dock T head, long walk to anywhere. Walked to Cracker Jacks, long way, food just ok.

Mooring Balls, 2016-02-17
Captain: , Dartmouth, UK (60)

Great moorings and no problem with our 6ft draft. We were advised by Marina to take a ball closest to the ICW which are in somewhat deeper water. Marina advised there is no tidal range locally which proved correct during our stay.
Marina facilities are fair, washing machines great, showers dirty although were cleaned as I left but they are certainly not of a high quality.
I would agree it's nowhere near a first choice Marina.

Adequate and convenient, friendly staff, 2016-02-15
Captain: , North East, Maryland (70)

True what a previous poster has said about "A" dock - in November we were placed in a slip that was about 3' short for our 31' sailboat. This time, the length on "D" dock was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities are adequate and well-maintained. While the restrooms have a key card, the same card opens men's, women's and laundry and the shower stalls have no doors/locks. This feels like a safety concern to me. Good recycling, trash, and oil disposal receptacles, plus dog walk bags and trash. Titusville, the town, is obviously trying - the downtown has a brew-pub, art gallery, chocolate shop to name a few; they're also working on historical structures and public parks. We walked 15 minutes to Isaac Campbell park to play tennis. We will stop here again, maybe even stay awhile.

Super Protection, 2016-02-11
Captain: , Racine, WI (515)

This marina is easy to get to and has friendly staff there to help. Pilings and dock are the sturderiest I have found. A good blow here would not move your boat if you tied up well.

3rd visit nice place to spend time and good price, 2016-02-07
Captain: , Milford Haven, Wales, UK (50)

We've left our boat 3 times on a mooring and gone off travelling. Very happy with service, price & staff. New manager now Dec 2015 open to suggestions for improvement.
Short walk to Save A Lot supermarket. Easy excellent bus service to get to Walmart, Home Depot.
Then theres Playalinda a bar/brewery on Main Street easy 10 minute walk.
Enterprise car rental simple to book.

Took a mooring, 2016-01-09
Captain: , Salt Ponds, Va (535)

I have stopped here a few times, sometime I took a slip, last night I took a mooring. One thing about taking a mooring, you get to sleep sound, without the worry of the anchor draging. I have been ashore in Titusville before and didn't need to see that depressing town again. The marina is well kept and easy to navigate, the fingers are too short to nose in. For that - 3 stars.

Helpfull and Friendly, 2015-12-31
Captain: , Tauranga NewZealand (50)

We had refrigeration problems and we phoned the Titusville marina for a phone mumber to track down a refridgeration engineer.
(J.D. Mazza. Ph 321 636 5725 ) We docked at the marina the next mornning and by lunch time we were regased and ready to go. The mariner staff said "no charge" ! They provide a generous service to boaters in need .
We were so grateful as we had already spent our marina budget and hadn't expected refridgeration problems. Thanks very much Titusville marina!

Good service, great staff, 2015-12-28
Captain: , Penetanguishene (43)

Had to get towed in for repairs. Staff was very helpful getting us to a dock and gave us a deal as we had to wait over Christmas for parts. Clean shower, cheap laundry and good wifi. Fixed docks are not really a problem as the tide here is negligable but are short (15')

Great Marina and surrounding area, 2015-12-28
Captain: , Sunset Beach, NC (1122)

Fixed docks but we did OK and the dock hand really helped get us tied up correctly. On fixed docks that takes extra effort. There is a CVS and another store in walking distance where we picked up some provisions. Also a brew pub about another block or two away. KFC and Burger King in you're into that. Manatee around so be careful. I like the well run municipal marinas of Florida.

Easy access, 2015-12-24
Captain: , Hampton (71)

The access to this marina is easy, dock assistance was very good. The bathrooms were below par and a bit of a hike. Store had no staples like bread but did have wine beer and sodas. Wifi worked fine. No real security and had kids from the area around the docks hanging out.

Not such a good stopover - update, 2015-12-12
Captain: , Whortensville, NC (506)

I just stashed my boat in this marina last month. Physically, the marina hasn't changed very much since the last time I was here last winter, but it might as well be a completely different place. Titusville has turned the marina over to a management company and gotten the city attorney involved and it is not the friendly place once was. When I went into the office to check in they ask for my papers. They wanted a copy of my registration/documentation certificate and a copy of my insurance policy proving that I had a minimum of $300,000 in liability insurance. I also had to fill out and sign a three page contract (down from 11 pages, I understand) and I even had to fill out a hurricane plan.
The contract isn't odious, but of course it is completely one sided - in the Marinas's favor only. I guess I am just old school and remember when we had faith and trust in each other, and faith and trust seems to be becoming a rare commodity in our modern day society. I suppose all of the lawyers that we are graduating from college need something to do. I guess I might as well get used to this since I suspect that it will be happening in all marinas soon.
I also see that the marina, or the city, has paid Active Captain to list it as a first choice marina. It is, indeed, a very nice marina but it is not what I would call first choice. I guess since the only other choice in Titusville is Westland marina, in comparison I guess Titusville is the first choice.
The management company is actually trying very hard and doing a very good job. If my stay at Titusville marina was considerabally less enjoyable this time than my previous stay, I fault the City of Titusville and not the marina management.

Great for new cruisers!, 2015-12-02
Captain: , Palm Coast, FL (10)

these folks took good care of us. From the time we got in their channel, we were led into the fuel dock by Dave, then guide to our slip by Dave and Jim. These gents were very professional and extremely helpful in some very windy conditions. Drwhogj

Why Titusville is best for leaving your boat over the holidays, 2015-12-01
Captain: , Poughkeepsie, NY (5607)

(Updated 12/1/2015)
The marina installed a new WiFi service by Bright House network in January of 2015 and the service is now outstanding. I'm getting 5 to 10 Mbps consistently towards the end of A dock and haven't been dropped yet. no longer any need for a WiFi amp.

We've traveled up and down the ICW for the past five years and used to leave our boat at other marinas when we traveled back north for Thanksgiving and Christmas but then we found Titusville!

- Price: At $10/ft for a month, it's the lowest in price along the ICW in Florida.
- Docks: They are massive and fixed. Floating docks are not needed since there's no tide. Even a wind driven tide is less than a foot at most.
- Protection: Excellent protection from all directions except you may get some bumps if the wind pipes up to 20 plus knots out of the east, the direction from the entrance to the harbor.
- Mail: The office accepts mail for transients.
- Security: "B" Dock now has a locked gate plus there are dockhands around until 8:00 at night. "A" dock is scheduled for a gate too.
- Staff: You won't find more helpful or friendly dockhands anywhere. They will check your lines while you're away.
- Laundry: At $1/load for wash and $0.50/load for drying, it can't be beat, especially with new, commercial grade machines installed over the summer.
- Ice: $1.50/bag for a 10 lb bag.
- Diver services: Don Brown has serviced Titusville for years, reasonable and quick, 877-307-4880
- Dog park: Right next door you can run your dog in a fenced in area, one for up to 25 lbs dogs and one for over 25 lbs.
- Running trails: The area is flat and there's plenty of sidewalks and side roads to run on plus a park towards downtown which features an occasional alligator in the pond. If you want hills you can run up the 65 ft high bridge over the ICW, great views.
- Office store: A good variety of what you may need the most including Interstate marine batteries.
- Transportation: You can walk to town but we just rent a car from Enterprise over a weekend for $10/day when we want to explore the area or get groceries at Walmart.
- Areas to explore: Too much to mention but we like Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, Kennedy Space Center (a must!), Enchanted Forest (county park). There is the usual Walmart Supercenter nearby and Publix too. Of course, there's all of Orlando to see.
- A pump out boat will come to your boat Saturday and Wednesday if needed at no charge.

The only con I can think of is the occasional jostling you may receive with a 20 to 30 kt wind out of the east, nothing to be concerned with - otherwise it's usually flat calm, even with 30 kt winds out of the north.

Mooring in the wind, 2015-12-01
Captain: , Bucksport, ME (160)

As a singlehanded I preferred to pick up a mooring rather than risk trying to enter the Marina in high NE winds. Sure it was bouncy, but I slept well knowing I was securely attached to the bottom. Mooring fee includes all Marina privileges. In more settled weather I am sure this is a great stop. We stayed in the Marina 15 years ago for transmission repair and access to Disney for the kids.

Surge in Marina, 2015-11-29
Captain: , Buffalo (1144)

We were there at a time when a 15 knot NE wind created a 2 ft. surge in the marina. Combined with the narrow fixed wood docks, made docking very difficult. The marina staff were very helpful, but we still were not able to back into our slip, as is our usual custom, but had to go in frontwards.

Fortunately, gone is the multi-page legal document when signing in as mentioned in a previous post.

We would stop here again, just not when there is a strong north or east wind.

a little long in the tooth, 2015-11-20
Captain: , annapolis, MD (120)

The marina seems to be in the process of an upgrade. Some piers better than others. Wifi was actually pretty good. Restrooms above ICW average. Nice and helpful staff. a little rough in east and NE winds.

Nothing Special but MJ is trying, 2015-11-15
Captain: , Bay City, MI (609)

Do not accept an assignment on dock A. derelict electrified boats and short docks.

On the positive side - clean bathrooms, new washers and dryers. Also, MJ is extremely helpful, but there is work to be done. With a reservation over a week in advance and a morning call and an arrival soon after noon, we were placed at a too short dock, as far away from the bathrooms as possible on a dock with electrified derelict boats.

Were it not for the support and cooperation of MJ I would not be giving a four star. Talk to MJ specifically.

Nice place, clean restrooms, 2015-11-12
Captain: , Dunedin, FL (6422)

Titusville was easy to reach by phone & Vhf. Well marked channel coming in and dock numbers visible. Had help with lines coming in to well built wooden docks. Some docks have security gates, others do not. Restooms were clean, need security card to use. Good power and water, wifi signal strong but could not connect to internet.

Nice marina, 2015-11-10
Captain: , Bedford, NH (625)

Stayed for one night, 11/5. Dock staff very helpful. Kept us on the fuel dock for the night. Very easy in and out. According to management, many of the restaurants have closed down since the decline in the space program. There is a grocery store within a short walk but not much else. Would need a cab to get to restaurants.

Stayed on a Mooring Ball, 2015-11-07
Captain: , Annapolis (1465)

Mooring field (North) had a number of unoccupied balls ($20+ tax). Staff seems confused about Boat US discount (we don't have one...maybe it's 10%...). Website clearly states 10%.

Walked to Cracker Jack's tiki bar/ restaurant. Great shrimp and wings.

While it's laudable that the marina manager reads and responds to previous posts, not too sure he should also be able to give his own marina a 5 Star rating. Just saying...

Beware of the monthly pricing!, 2015-10-23
Captain: , Bethlehem, PA (696)

The pricing to stay a month at this marina is not as advertised on the marina website. We were charged for the length of the slip (40'), not the length of our 38' boat. The website and the pricing sheet available at the office makes no mention of this pricing structure. I spoke with Tom, the marina manager, about this. He said that the website was incorrect and he laughed I my request to honor the pricing from the website.

Not a bad stop, 2015-10-23
Captain: , St Louis (886)

We went into the marina for a pump-out & fuel. Unfortunately, they were on 2 different docks with a 20-kt wind driving us onto the dock (they didn't mention the pump out boat option on the phone). Then repositioned to the mooring field. They only had 20 balls out (as of this date, they are reinstalling balls & pendants--eye is hooked on a post on top of the ball), and they weren't close, making for a wet dinghy ride with the wind conditions. Wifi didn't work at the mooring, even with our Wirie. Too bad. Decent town. Nice employees. Recommend Space Walk museum as an alternative to Kennedy (there is a good breakfast diner one block past). Laundry $1.50 wash, & 0.75 dry--new machines. 2 showers available and were relatively clean.

Dockage Rates, 2015-10-23
Captain: , Titusville Marina (46)

I just want to say that I take all customer concerns seriously and I would never laugh at a customer. The current website states that our price is by the length of the boat and is being corrected to properly state that our rates for monthly dockage are the greater of the dock or the vessel. In most cases the difference is minimal. We apologize for any confusion.

NAPA Store , 2015-10-22
Captain: , Columbia, NC (130)

Another big advantage here is the NAPA store, a short walk away - George ( mgr ) is able to get most any part, if not in stock, delivered to the marina the next morning -

pretty good facility, 2015-10-14
Captain: , Charlestown (946)

friendly and helpful staff. clean facilities and close location to some shopping. CVS is nearby, but you may need a cab for target etc. there is also a Save a Lot store you can walk too. dont miss the local Space Museum. we recieved a personal tour and learned all about the space program start to finish. many things there are hands on and it is amazing. don't miss it. A good stop for lunch or dinner is Kloibers Cobbler. Simple and freshly made entrees.

9-2015 Marina in management transition., 2015-09-07
Captain: , Titusville, FL (10)

I have kept my sailboat here for 12 years. The marina was great even with the ICW's shallow depth. The city has turned over control to a management co. now, so things are less then perfect. Hopefully, it will be returned to it's previous standards.

Management response:
Captain: Our Management company has just taken over the management as of October 1st. It is our goal to surpass the previous standards and give everyone a great experience here in Titusville.

Very Nice Stopover, 2015-09-04
Captain: , Winter Garden, Fl (2153)

We came in to have the barnacles removed from our running gear (Underwater Dive Services), only stayed one night but were very impressed with the operation. Good, sturdy docks, good electric and great wi-fi. Walking or bicycling distance to many basic needs as well as restaurants & bars. An extensive dog park next door.

Welcome to the new management of our marina, 2015-08-25
Captain: , Titusville, FL (44)

Active Captain %u2013 management review
Hello Cruisers. My name is Ron Thorstad. I have had the privilege to be the dock master at the Titusville Municipal Marina since December 2014. I have also had the honor to be the interim manager since February 2014. Lately, all kinds of rumors are flying about saying that the marina has been sold and that we no longer accept live aboard boaters. These are just rumors!

The truth is that the City has contracted with SG Marinas to manage the marina for the City of Titusville. All of the current employees will brought into the SG Marinas family under a new marina manager. This certainly an exciting time for all of us. The marina team is looking forward to working for and with this management company that has an impressive, proven record of accomplishment. They are bringing many innovations and marketing tools to our marina along with experienced management guidance.
As far as the live aboard issue goes, the City manager has no choice but to adhere to the specific stipulations in our contract with the State of Florida. This contract is administered via the DEP and has very specific language in it that defines how long a person may live aboard a vessel in a marina. We definitely welcome live aboard cruisers and tell them that as long as the DEP controls our submerged land lease agreement, then, we are restricted to having live aboard guests only stay with us for 6 out of every 12 calendar months.
Our same great marina team is here to welcome and assist you with a smile the friendly professionalism you have come to expect from the Titusville municipal Marina.

electric has been fixed, 2015-08-22
Captain: , Beaumont, TX (669)

Stayed on B dock....somewhat rocky from waves pushed in by east wind. 50 amp elctric tested....120v . No difficulty. Friendly, helpful dock manager..David. Concrete dock so we put out lots of fenders as wind was pushing me into the dock.

Great wifi - very friendly staff - facilities OK, 2015-08-18
Captain: , St. Petersburg, FL (201)

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the facilities were OK (not the best, not the worst). Bathrooms were clean and docks were fine - just not new and a bit worn. But very good wifi - among the best in the marinas I visited on my trip this summer from FL to MD (I stayed at many marinas). Stayed there one night but would stay again.

Enjoyed our stay, 2015-08-02
Captain: , Montgomery Alabama (1102)

We spent three nights at the marina .
We were attracted to it because of the dog park .
The Marina , the park , staff , facilities , all were excellent and reasonably priced .

We stayed here again on our return leg , end of July and once again had a pleasant stay .

My only complaint and something I have ran into on the east coast marinas , is their inability to be able to pumpout a 5 gallon portable sewage tank . It takes a straight pipe that attaches to the pumpout hose . They are common on the Gulf side of Florida , but non-existent on the east coast . Transporting and Dumping a 5 gallon tank in a toilet is diificult .

We heard gossip of several changes in management , and the fulltimers are not happy about it . Sometimes it seems like Florida is discouraging boating .

But we had a most pleasureable stay , only complaint is they lacked a fitting to pump out our 5 gallon porta potty holding tank . Ended up having to pour it down a toilet .

Enjoyable stay, 2015-07-20
Captain: , Lakeland (997)

We stayed here for a month in April of this year. The staff was excellent. The wifi was among the best we've had. Location close to town. Parks nearby. Many manatees in and around the marina. Kennedy Space Center not far away (rental car). I understand the full-time liveaboards are having issues now (friends of ours who were there have moved on), but our stay was excellent.

Good news, Bad news, 2015-07-03
Captain: , Hollywood (360)

Well marked channel off the ICW. Came in the 2nd on July 4th weekend. We have a 65' Hatteras cruiser that weighs 50 tons. Eager assistant took our dockline and rather than taking a half turn around a pile held the line by leaning backwards. Bad start. Then we hooked up electric; 99 vac read and never went above 102. That can burn out an small electric motors aboard, or at least shorten their life. It was like being back in the Bahamas. Promised us to have an electrician come to step up current but no one ever showed. On goes the generator. WiFi weak at T Head, and won't reach through hull. Only reception above the dock level and no iPad or iPhone connecting, just the laptop running. Even our Rogue Pro won't connect. Entrance to the marina not baffled, an inherent design flaw allowing wakes and waves to enter with any easterly winds. Can't leave as everyone is full for the holidays. If they correct these problems they will have a really nice facility but they reall need to work on these things.

Good Experience, 2015-06-15
Captain: , Naples, FL (682)

We stayed here overnight on Saturday 13 June 2015. The previously reported problems with registering and management were not apparent to us and seem to have been fixed. We booked a slip on the previous day then called on VHF when we were inthe marina entrance channel. Had a prompt response to both calls. The duty manager on our arrival was busy with several customers but put us on the fuel dock T-head and helped with a line before rushing off to assist others. Checking in at the office was easy and quick - just the usual short-order registration form with owners name and address and boat name and registration. No documentation was required from us and no other forms were required.
Marina has good bathrooms and laundry that are secured by key. Old downtown is a short walk and includes a new craft brewery that is well worth a visit.

Trouble Brewing, 2015-05-26
Captain: , Palm Coast, FL (442)

We pulled in for fuel and one night's dockage today (May 26, 2015). We walked into a management change. Runors abound, but the city is turning over the management of the marina to an outside party. At least some (if not all) of the existing employees are leaving. Upon checking in, we were required to provide our vessel documentation, registration and insurance policy showing liability coverage of at least $300,000. We were also "required" to read and initial every page of an 11-page legal document. I initialled it as required, but wrote on the first page that I had refused to read it. Expect further changes here.

Perfect Fuel Stop, 2015-05-21
Captain: , Muskegon, MI (483)

This well marked channel and beautiful marina is to be commended. The dockhand was very helpful and the slips beautiful. A plus there are manatees swimming by your boat!

Captain: , Colonial Beach, VA (590)

Great stop as usual. Wifi works in the boat. Staff professional. Prices good. They care about pleasing the boater. Always stop here. And to reduce the expense you can get a mooring ball vice slip.

Old but Good, 2015-04-09
Captain: , Havre de Grace, MD (241)

We stayed on a mooring for two nights and had full use of the facilities, primarily the nice showers. They were spacious and nicely painted. The staff were all exceptionally friendly; the pumpout is free and they man woudln't even accept a tip. This is hard to come by. The marina is within walking distance to a couple of stores such as CVS which was convenient for us. There is also a little reading room that we used. We would definitely come back.

Helpful staff, 2015-04-03
Captain: , Neptune Beach (41)

The staff onhand is very understanding, helpful, and skilled. Reasonable prices and accommodating people. Great transient spot.

Okay I guess, 2015-03-23
Captain: , Jacksonville Florida (417)

The dockmaster and people working there were great. They were friendly and professional, and all that has become almost the defacto standard almost. What I saw as a possible issue is that the marina is open to the east and there's enough fetch to build some sizable waves, and with the docks being 90 degrees from the east, made for a slightly noisy / rocky night. The dock wasn't secure either. There were a couple of tenants whom's boat was far from being seaworthy and appeared to be headed to the bottom any minute. An ospry had taken over two boats in front of us, I wondered how many years it had been since the owners had been there. It also looked like it's an area of Florida that is struggling with the downturn in the economy and the space industry. Installing a breakwall is probably too much for their budget, but would really help.

Helpful staff, great marina, 2015-03-18
Captain: , Forest Lake, MN (80)

Staff very helpful with docking (fuel, pump-out & finally the finger pier). New wifi is really good and strong. Truly appreciated that feature!

Fantastic Stop, 2015-03-14
Captain: , Belleville, Ontario (400)

Stopped on a mooring ball to see a satellite launch- if you%u2019ve not seen one treat yourself it was awe inspiring. The mooring field is best in either South or light N/E but otherwise very reasonable. The dingy dock is great - if we were staying any length of time we would have taken a slip. The staff is extremely helpful and considerate. All facilities were clean. Close to a great Tiki bar under the bridge food was really good and reasonable as well - 4 pm happy hour $1 Bud Light - it has a dingy dock. There is a Save a Lot very close as well. All in all, one of our best stops to date.

Great Stay, 2015-03-13
Captain: , Seabrook, TX (246)

Need a star for friendliness they would get a 6. Staff was friendly and very accommodating,.

Titusville much improved, 2015-03-06
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (1187)

Titusville is much improved since we were last here 12 years ago. Moorings are reasonably priced ($18), marina provides very good map showing location and distances of shops and restaurants. Very nice walking paths including over bridge. Excellent dog park right next to marina.

Nice Stop., 2015-03-04
Captain: , Atlanta (770)

Stayed here 2/24-25/2015. helpful dockhands, easy in-out. Great town for walking.

Great marina., 2015-02-28
Captain: , Oriental, NC (150)

We took a slip for 2 nights for Thanksgiving. Lots of help getting into the slip with 20 knots of wind and connected to water and electric. Staff is very accomdating and the laundry is great with good prices.
Wound up staying a 3rd night because the wind came up from the NE. Early morning is best for coming and going.
2/25/15 Came back for a visit and took a mooring for one night. Very nice staff but the wifi doesn't work out in the mooring field, even though they said it would reach. Good while at the dock however.

Access to area sites, 2015-02-24
Captain: , Gregory, MI (60)

Although the marina is great, with great staff and easy access to the marina from the ICW, there is no public transportation to any of the area attractions. The only transportation is by taxi which is very expensive. There is a public bus system, however, it doesn't stop at any of the area atractions only shopping. So, unless you want to only frequent the area in the immediate area your out of luck.

Nice stop., 2015-02-10
Captain: , Huntsville, AL (335)

Easy access, GREAT staff, we really enjoyed the two days we stopped here. The staff went above and beyond in helping us get a power pigtail by letting us borrow one, then ordered us one, then found us a cheaper used one to buy. My only complaint is that there is no way to lock the door to take a shower, anyone of either sex with a key card can get in at anytime. So I just showered on the boat, which isn't a problem. But we like the marina and we'll be back.

Gift Certificate NOT honored, 2015-02-04
Captain: , North Fort Myers, FL (429)

I cannot offer a review of this marina as we have never stayed there. We had planned to stop on this trip south however the marina would not honor a gift certificate for a free night's dockage they had issued. We won the certificate on our last trip north and were already past Titusville and the certificate expiration was 5/2014. We called the marina and asked about the certifcate expiring and we had already passed them heading nroth for the summer. They told us "No Problem... stop and see us in the fall when we came south"... we thought this was great.

However, we just called to make a reservation for the evening and told them we had the gift certificate... we were told that they don't give out gift certificates and gave us the thrid degree about the one we had. Was told it was issued by the "old manager" and would not be honored. The person that we spoke too was very confrontational to the point that we will probably never visit Titusville Marina.... VERY SAD!

So, I am giving them a one star rating based solely on the converstation we had with I beileve the current manager.

Marina sheltered, 2015-01-28
Captain: , Saint Michaels (300)

We had 20 knots from the west on the ICW and were uncertain about getting into a slip. We thought about the mooring field. The staff told us that the docks were sheltered. They were and the staff was helpful. The only complaint is dock height.

My Pick on the Space Coast, 2015-01-25
Captain: , Halifax Nova Scotia (42)

Helpful staff, clean and well maintained, easy access from the ICW and close to required provisions. All this for a reasonable price. And WiFi actually works!

Great Staff, 2015-01-16
Captain: , Alex Bay, NY (431)

I spent 3 days at the Titusville Municipall Marina and would give it my 5 stars...Easy to get into via the ICW, very friendly and helpful staft, decent dockage, easy walkingn distance to needed stores, rest-rooms and laundry are clean and well maintained. They have a small ship's store on site, with fair pricings. The water entrance is OK, but slow and cautious is my advice. I draft 4.5 feet and saw maybe 6-7 on the way in. There is a good mixture of transient and long term dockage members. "B" dock has a security gate but the other docks seem to have no problems and locals gave no indications of problems. I would stay again on my way back North.

Great Stop, 2015-01-10
Captain: , Neversink NY (200)

Have been stopping here for years this is a well taken care of marina that caters too traverlers. Great price, good docks and services and what is not in Titusville is not far all a agreat price.

enjoyed this marina, 2015-01-07
Captain: , West Gardiner, ME (735)

Were on mooring for a month. Found facility clean, and all staff helpful and friendly. Town was ok, but not lots unless you do bus system or taxi. Marina community organized a pot luck on Christmas that was well attended and delicious.

Tiitusville Municipal Marina, 2014-12-21
Captain: , Burlington, VT USA (245)

Perhaps not as 'classy' and fancy as some, but super clean, well protected, no tides or currents to contend with, very, very helpful employees, friendly atmosphere, and most reasonably priced I could find anywhere between Daytona and Fort Pierce.

Just OK, 2014-12-18
Captain: , Lewes, DE (30)

Read most of the reviews and seems in general that people were very complimentary of the staff. Our experience with them was "ok". I wouldn't describe them as the model of customer service. They just weren't that friendly or welcoming. Re: restaurants, we had a very nice dinner at Chops, a short walk down Washington Ave. They were warm and welcoming, the service was excellent and the food was very good (crab cakes and eggplant parm). The portions was large... we could have easily split the eggplant parm, and the price, $59 plus tip, was very reasonable compared to where we are from.

Captain: , Islesboro, Maine (104)

Titusville is not really the convenient stop all of the cruising guides make it out to be. savealot is the only store within walking distance and it sells a lot of discount processed foods. publix is three miles away through the some rough neighborhoods. we walked up there and were propositioned by a nice prostitute and walked through a neighborhood with falling down houses. the bus ride back was, I kid you not, roach filled. special. there is no west marine here despite it being mentioned in all
of the paper cruising guides. it's in coco beach. also this marina needs to talk to it's dock hands. don't snub the bowline dude. smash. crummy wifi as well. I know, I know first world problems but we pay the big bucks to come in here to handle our affairs online and when we get here nothing, the sprint 3G is marginal here too. the security guy is super aggressive as well. he came down to hassle me when I was returning to the boat with a bunch of groceries, like dude, usually thieves take things off the boat not bring things to it. he totally blocked my way while I was trying to get off of my finger pier to get water, not a good feeling. he was then super rude to me while I tried to sort out the wifi thing with him on the phone. this place get a big fat L for lame.

Great stop over, 2014-12-08
Captain: , Antigonish, NS (20)

The marina facilities are first class, clean rest-rooms anf showers. The mooring field is a bit of a distance from the marina itself and was a bit lumpy the night we stayed. Reasonably priced facilities, would stay there again.

Great night on a mooring, 2014-10-29
Captain: , Charleston (400)

Spent the night on A1 on the both side of the channel. No current or wind. Marina was clean and nice. Filled the water tanks with clean fresh tasting water.

Walked to ABC store and to Save A Lot grocery. About an hour round trip. Ate lunch at Kloiber Cobbler. It was good.

Great Stopover, 2014-10-12
Captain: , Jensen Beach FL (40)

Quick one night stopover. Nice marina, Friendly people, Clean Showers and bathrooms. Great Internet. Great over the air TV, (all major stations). Great facilities for the pets. Marina personnell had a comprehensive list of places to eat, drink, or evan to have food delivered. Fixed docks are not an issue as there is practically no tide as the marina is many miles from the nearest inlet.

Tricky getting in, 2014-10-08
Captain: , Hudson (274)

We had some strong winds with a fast current so it was a challenge getting in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. The walk to a drug store, grocery store and a couple of fast food places is about 1/4 of a mile. Good place to stop. If it were floating docks I would give it a 5 star rating.

Recently stopped in with transmission problems. I was referred to Marine Pro of Cocoa. Frank sent Collin up to look at it. Over the next few days they got me up and running again. Very professional, able personnel and the price is quite reasonable.

Update - Great Marina, 2014-07-02
Captain: , Perry, Kansas (317)

Third time here. 22 June 2014. First class personnel, nice ships store, very nice and clean rest rooms and shower. Active Captain did a great job in organizing the Cruizers Caravan, a shuttle that takes you anywhere in the town, however since it is now "out of season" the shuttle is suspended". Loved the Mantees.

Reasonably priced stopover., 2014-06-19
Captain: , London (639)

The marina is easy to enter and leave with good depths, the staff are very helpful.
Titusville itself does not have much to offer and it seems a lot of the stores are closing down or closed. Its a goodplace to visit the Cape Canaveral space centre, but I think lots of the population used to have jobs there which when the space shuttle ceased operating came to an end. The town feels like a ghost town.

So-so mooring, 2014-05-25

Still Dog-gone Good!, 2014-04-04
Captain: , Castine, Maine (2964)

Everything we enjoyed before plus the Cruisers' Caravan to take us for provisioning, etc. A great stop is now even better!

01-01-2013: This was our first time visiting Titusville but it won't be our last. We decided to stop in because of the dog park. The City of Titusville has a new huge dog park as part of the Marina Park facility. It is literally adjacent to the marina. Over the years Dyna and Dylan have become quite the dog park connoisseurs. After a week of anchoring we figured they deserved the extra attention. We made daily visits. They loved it!

What we didn't expect is how much we would love being here. We ended up staying over 3 weeks. Titusville is surrounded by such natural beauty and wildlife, something that has become pretty rare in Florida. We watched a daily display of dolphins, manatees, and masses of birds, including the endangered Wood Stork, from our cockpit. The marina is surrounded by two parks with lovely walking paths. Across the Indian River is the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge offering beautiful scenery. We took a motorized kayak tour from A Day Away Kayak Tours which took off from Sand Point Park right next door, meandered along the west side of the river and then across to see the other side. We went bird watching in the Refuge and spent a day at the Kennedy Space Center. Ran out of time to get to the Canaveral National Seashore and the Titusville Playhouse - next time.

The town has what you need with several restaurants ranging from fast food to a nice bakery to Chops for a nice meal. There is a Save A Lot grocery which is small but has a good meat selection and the other fresh stuff you need at really low prices. It's an easy walk especially since the city installed a nice wide sidewalk while we where there that runs from the marina right into town.

We found an inexpensive car rental at Budget with our AARP discount and they even picked us up and dropped us off. This allowed us to explore even further including a day in Orlando which is just a half-hour drive away (Epcot Center next year?).

The marina itself is very nice with wide, well-lit docks, helpful staff, and inexpensive laundry. If you want something different from the typical ICW stop this is it. This may have been our first visit but it will definitely not be our last.

One of the Best, 2014-03-28
Captain: , White Bear Lake, MN (60)

Not to "pile on", but the staff here is great, facilities are well maintained and if you have a dog on board a great dog park next to "A" dock. We came in late December to try a month this far "north" in Florida, loved it and stayed 3 months. And yes the Cruiser Van is available to get you around town. To us its 5 stars for the above and they'll make you feel you are at home.

AWESOME MARINA, 2014-03-25
Captain: , Vancouver, Canada (487)

This marina is just a fabulous place. WHY? The team who work here are totally dedicated to customer satisfaction. From spotless showers to a totally WILCO and RELAXED atmosphere. This is a MUST STOP. The cruisers bus gets you to just about wherever you need to go to restock (Walmart, Ace, Lowes, Target) and there is always lots of space to bring your provisions on board. Of all the marinas we have stopped in this last year Ron and his team team here gets high marks for focusing on the customer.

Another great Marina, 2014-03-22
Captain: , Bear DE (694)

March 2014: We have been on the mooring ball for 4 nights this year. The Mooring field is not realy protected from any side. The staff in the Marina is great as we remember from last year. They do now offer a free tansport to major stores - you just have to sign up in the Office. Will stay here again.
February 2013: Stayed here for one night - the staff is friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms are very clean. Will stay here again. If you like to have a drink - take the 15 minute walk to Crackerjacks Tiki Bar (under the brigde south of the marina). They also have live music!

Good stop at a well oiled marina, 2014-03-10
Captain: , baltimore md (634)

We came in for two days, Feb. 5&6. Great directions and help docking. We found the entire staff very upbeat. The town was a short bike ride away and had everything we needed. We were on B dock and even with heavy North and North East wind felt very protected.

Good Stop Over Place, 2014-02-27
Captain: , Everett, Washington (824)

In late February, there were plenty of spaces. We stayed two nights to sit out a cold front with rain and wind. Nice boater community. Staff were well selected and trained, from Sue who workss the office and is the voice on the VHF, to the dock hands and the drivers of the free "Cruisers Van." Pumpout included in price, BOATUS discount, clean bathrooms and the lowest cost washing machines and dryers. The Kennedy Space Center tour is worth the $50/PP fee. The marina will take you there, $30 a van load but well worth it.

Great little marina and very supportive personnel, 2014-02-19
Captain: , Amelia Island, FL (80)

This marina is full of manatees most of the year so be very careful entering and leaving the marina. Be very careful not to let water hoses that have running water get near the marina's water surface because the manatees will try to swallow the hose. NOT GOOD.

great mooring field, 2014-02-07
Captain: , St. Augustine,FL (231)

stopped here on 2/4/14, easy in and out,. moorings balls are easy to pick up and plenty of room close to the marina. Staff is friendly, showers are good and ship's store is very competitively priced and well stocked. Well worth the $20/night.

Really good stop, 2014-01-28
Captain: , Mayport, FL, USA (317)

Don't let the "municipal" part throw you off: if all government operated as well, as smoothly, as graciously as Titusville Municipal Marina, we'd have nothing to complain about. The marina offers very good access, very good docks, very helpful, knowledgeable staff, and very good services. The heads and showers are bit basic, but very clean and they work well. A courtesy van is available, even on short notice. A good place to stop.

Very nice mooring field, 2014-01-20
Captain: , Savannah, GA (160)

Mimi & Larry, s/v Sweet Amelia Easy in and out with 9'+ water on the south side of the marina entrance channel. Good moorings with nice floating pendants, well marked with yellow buoys. Fish camp type feel to the marina but very clean and homey. Good ship's store, convenient showers and laundry with floating dingy dock. Pet friendly and good people. Fuel dock looks easy too. $19.08 Boat US members for mooring/night. Excellent stop.

also beyond the call of duty, 2014-01-18
Captain: , Jamestown, RI (110)

Came in to get fuel while it was blowing 25+ out of the north. They warned me that I might get pinned to the dock and had three people to help with our docking. Once in there, they did an exceptional job of securing the boat and assisting us. When they found out we were headed to a marina with a tight entrance they offered us a free mooring for the night and then upped that offer and just let us stay on the fuel dock. They even offered to drive us to the marina to check it out before we brought the boat over. Crazy! Thanks Municipal!!

GOOD MOORING, 2014-01-16
Captain: , East Falmouth, MA (1523)

Spent 1 nite here on a mooring but did not go ashore. Marina handled the entire transaction by phone. Mooring pennant about 10' long and clean with a plastic eye at the end so you need to be ready to thread your line through. The eye cannot be put on a cleat.

Great cruiser's marina, 2013-12-28
Captain: , Annapolis (795)

Spent two weeks here over Christmas holidays. Solid docks, helpful staff, nice store on site. Bathhouse could be modernized. Highly recommend this place, but it is pretty basic.

Beyond the call of duty...Great personal service, 2013-12-09
Captain: , Annapolis (30)

We anchored out past the mooring field for an overnight stop. Took dink to marina and walked to supermarket. Dink motor died on the way back to my boat, rowed back to the marina and the very kind staff towed me back to my boat. Tried to give them a gratuity equivelent to a mooring fee and they smiled and declined. Very good folks there. We will be back!!!!!

very helpful and friendly staff, don't take Cheap Taxi !, 2013-12-05
Captain: , Halifax Marina Daytona Beach (300)

close to downtown, try Chops restaurant but be carefull taken a cab, CheapTaxi is not reliable at all! If its rough outside don't
go on C- Dock, its not protected.

Good Stop if a bit rough., 2013-11-12
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (175)

When I was there the wind was blowing hard out of the east and to say it was rough in the slip is an understatement. Good service and prices, just not good with a wind from the east. Managed to see the Tropicana train go by one morning, so it's worth taking a look when you hear the train (and you will hear the train!)

Great Stop, 2013-11-05
Captain: , Port Everglades (505)

I stopped here again on the southbound trip to find the same great service and competitive pricing. There is no tide so the fixed wood docks were fine. Good protection from wind and waves.

Home away from home, 2013-10-23
Captain: , Oregon (60)

Our newly purchased boat is staying with friends at this marina while we are home packing and organizing to get onboard and cruise. Everyone is very helpful with newbies and very friendly. Very clean facilities and well stocked. Lots of supplies available within reasonable distances.

Titusville Marina, 2013-09-22
Captain: , Merritt Island, FL (346)

This is a city marina and the staff could not be more frendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. Wifi service is excellent. Take care in a strong easterly wind, it can be a challenge getting into a slip. There are several great places to eat within walking distance of the marina. Also, Space View Park is a must walk through and the town historical museum is also worth seeing.

Great Stop on the ICW, 2013-08-22
Captain: , Rochester, NY (493)

Outstanding Mom-and-Pop marina!

Very clean, very comfy and very secure - you can't beat the price!

Very close to Orlando Airport and the Amtrack Auto-train.

You just can't beat the shuttle to down-town that the businesses have provided the marina - wow!

In the month we stayed, we found all the restaurants we tried to be very good, indeed.

There's a comfy screened-in breezeway with a TV.

The ship's store has a surprizing selection, including stainless fasteners. In addition, there's a used-parts store just the other side of the road - tons of great stuff!

Finally - I know it's bad for the Manatees to hang out in a marina, but these comical beasts sure seem to like it here adding a lot of personality - just be very aware for them as you come and go!

Worthy of a visit:

If you've got a car, be sure to head over the causeway to the pristine Merrit Island Natiional Park with the spectacular Playalinda Beach - forty miles (or was it sixty miles?) with no development at all!

The entrance to the Park is $10, but there's a discount for Seniors and for Veterans.

There are ten accesses over the dunes to the beach itself

For folks of that persuasiion, the furthest north access is a nudist beach!

The Kennedy Center isn't far away. It really looks interesting, but it was a little pricey for us.

We really loved Titusville Maarina. The only reason we moved along in the end, was access to the ocean - it's a good day's sail to the Port Canaveral inlet.

Good overnight stop, 2013-07-27
Captain: , Louisiana (504)

Stayed just one night on 7/25/2013, based on previous reviews on this site. Marina personnel very courteous & helpful with fueling & pumpout. Their fuel prices were very good. Ship's store had a surprisingly good assortment of stuff.
Using the town map which the office provides, we went to CHOPS restaurant, and was VERY pleasantly surprised. White tablecloth place with excellant quality food, costing only $15-$23 per entree. Had the Mini-Wellington Beef as an appetizer & it was out of this world! Best food for the value!
Leaving the next morning, had to wait for the manatees to get out of the way.
Would definitely return!

Moorings for me, 2013-06-17
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (266)

Lots of moorings make this an easy stop. Sorry to say I've never been ashore here, but it's a great place to pull in, grab a mooring and easily drop the pennant in the morning. If you're lucky (I've not been) you may see a launch from nearby NASA facility at Cape Kennedy.

Railroad in addition, 2013-06-12
Captain: , Freeport, Maine (175)

Second time we have been to Titusville. Always a pleasure, clean facilities, great marina store, very helpful staff, and adjacent to the best dog park on the East Coast. As a railroad nut, I find it amazing that the Florida East Coast railroad is adjacent to the marina and that high speed freight trains come roaring through fairly frequently.

A Boater Friendly City & Marina, 2013-06-06
Captain: , Amelia Island, FL (115)

The City of Titusville has little to offer the cruising boater, but they are a boater friendly City. The City Marina is not upscale, but well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and showers are air conditioned. The captain's lounge is a screen room with a TV and chairs. The local merchants have a free shuttle bus that will take you to shopping or to Dixie Crossroads Restaurant which is a must place to eat. There are not many marinas in this area to choose from, but I always keep coming back here due to location on ICW and well run marina. Now there is free shuttle bus is another reason to stop here. If you are in the area, then this is the marina you want to overnight in. I will be back!

Keeps getting better!, 2013-05-29
Captain: , Wilmington, DE (780)

some staff changes have made this spot even better than before, not that it was bad to begin with. very scenic and quiet location with numerous manatees on site. they have experienced and helpful dockhands, and were very accomodating to our needs. they now have a shuttle service to town and to nearby restaurants, groceries, etc which is a fantastic new addition.

Short Stay, 2013-05-22
Captain: , Stuart Fl (300)

We wereon the ICW because the weather was not good for being offshore. We mad areservation atTitusville Municipal Marina for May 2, 2013. When I called around 1PM to reconfirm , provide an ETA and check on slip assignment I was told we would be in a slip that was not going to work for us because the fingerwas too short even though I had requested a T head or facedock when I made the reservation. After much discussion and a call back from the dockmaster, we agreed to stay on the fuel dock as long as we arrived late and left early. We arrived after 7PM,took on fuel and left before 7AM. Dock staff wasfriendly and efficient.

Good mooring field and great marina staff, 2013-05-15
Captain: , Palm Coast, Florida (785)

Spent one night here while heading north. Good facilities and safe place to stop. Didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the shuttle vav for cruisers.

outstanding marina/town, 2013-05-07
Captain: , Gulfport, MS (321)

We recently took a slip (4-29-13) at Titusville, intending to stay for only a couple of days. We ended up staying a full week, partly due to weather and partly due to the quality of service and friendliness of the staff and locals. Ace hardware is a must if you have boating or hardware needs. If you like to view wildlife, Merritt Island NWR is great - rent a car and tour it. Biolab road is especially recommended. The Warbirds Museum is another great visit. Our only disappointment was the Space Museum - after paying $10 for parking, we discovered the cost was $50 apiece, senior discount. None of the brochures disclosed this.

2 week stay, 2013-05-01
Captain: , Scottsdale (320)

Stayed on a mooring ball the first week, then to a dock for week 2 only because guests were arriving.

The docks are fixed and the pilings are pretty thick so I rigged up my 4 inch PVC pipe over 2 fenders before going in. The tee head is exposed to waves from the north, but overall this was a comfortable stay.

I had a rental car the 2nd week and the major box stores are within 3-6 miles. A nice Publix was about 3 miles away

Great Marina!, 2013-05-01
Captain: , St. Louis, MO (1696)

This is the second time we hae stayed here and it is a great place. The docks are fixed wood in very good condition. The slips are a bit narrow (16 feet ?) but no problem. (There does appear to be several extra wide slots for cats. The staff is terrific and plently of them too. Pump out boat on Weds. and Sats. Free shuttle bus to wherever you need to go including the space center, which is a must see destination. Office is open til 9 pm. Shops and stores not too far. Mooring field just outside. Appears to be a very well run marina. Need service? We did. Called Mims Marine service (business cards in office). Phil was on the spot and took care of us very well.

Good stopover, 2013-05-01
Captain: , Punta Gorda, Fl (880)

Easy access off ICW. Good approach for fuel dock/Boat US discount. Nice docks. No tide. Friendly staff. Clean and secure showers/laundry/wifi. Short bike ride into town. Bike ride to Cracker Jacks at the Max Brewer Causeway Pier. Good location to visit the Space Center museum.

Crusiers van, 2013-04-29
Captain: , Salem, MA (372)

Don't miss stopping here and taking the van to the Space Center. Before the van the only practical was to get to the Space center was to rent a car.

Very Nice Marina, 2013-04-20
Captain: , Wickford RI (200)

We were laid up here for repairs for over a week and although the marina is quite nice, reasonably priced, and the staff very helpful, Titusville itself looses it's charm after a few days. It's a bit of a hike to decent restaurants (there's only 2) and you really need a car to grocery shop, sightsee, or get boat parts. The up side is that there is a car rental location close by that will pick you up and is pretty reasonably priced. The Cruiser Van run by the marina is very heplful, but limited to a few stops like Home Depot, Walmart, and the Space Center (worth the trip while killing time waiting for parts, especially if you grew up in the USA during the space race). On the bright side it's right off the ICW, easy in & out, fuel & pumpout well run and easy access. In a better location this would be 5 star.

Courtesy van, 2013-04-13
Captain: , Trenton ON (658)

Great stop and their cruisers courtesy van will take you to the Kennedy Space Centre to spend a great day!!

Great marina/great people/great town!, 2013-04-13
Captain: , Kinsale (130)

We spent over a month twice this winter, going south then north at Titusville Municipal Marina. While this marina is not new or fancy, we found it very scenic, clean, friendly, and service-oriented. The numerous staff members are all experienced, knowledgeable, energetic and helpful. The ships store, although not large, has an amazing inventory of clothing, basic food staples, and boat supplies. We also recommend Tommy, a skilled mechanic, from Westland Marina next door, who did excellent work on our boat. Titusville Municipal Marina is situated right on the ICW and provides moorings as well as slips. The parks on either side are nice for walking as is the Max Brewer Bridge which crosses the ICW and gives a panoramic view of the marinas, mooring field, boat traffic and people enjoying many water actvities. New sidewalks make for an easy walk into town where there are many unique and reasonably priced shops and restaurants. We particularly liked Kloibers Kobblers and the accoustic music by R.G. Evans, who plays there almost every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We also visited Dock Dude, just accross the street from the marina, several times and found many new or gently used items for our boat. Titusville is not a resort town but has the hometown atmosphere we came to appreciate the more time we spent there!

Great Marina, fun with manatees, 2013-04-06
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (220)

We stayed three nights, April 3-5. Dock hands greeting us were very helpful. Slip was deep, easy access to electric and water. Heads were nearby and solidly built ( I mention that because we waited out a very close tornado warning in there). They were clean, and great shower facilities. Laundry room was clean and wash/dry was, $2/load, and washers did a great job.

Three times we took advantage of on site transportation. Mark drove us once in their new van to marina sponsors stores, also went two times to Dixie Crossroads, with Captain Clark returning to pick us up at our convenience.

There are several manatees in the marina area so use caution when entering and exiting.

A great location to stage a trip to Orlando or Kennedy Space Center.

Overall we were very happy with everything and will definitely return.

Van is available, 2013-04-01
Captain: , St. Augustine, Florida (198)

Saw a nice passenger van parked on the street today and there is a van schedule in the office.

Spent 2 months on a ball while dealing with doctors in Jacksonville. Would do it again.

Still Very Good and Getting Better, 2013-03-17
Captain: , Annapolis (424)

Stopped at the marina, picked up fuel and then moved to the mooring field. I asked about the van and Dave said they were still acquiring it and are planning to have it in operation by the first of April. We rented a car from Enterprise and they picled us up. Spent the day touring the Kennedy Space Center, a recommended visit. Tickets are about $60 apiece on the internet, all fees, etc. considered. But they do a good job of moving people through the exhibits, etc.

Great Place, 2013-03-17
Captain: , titusville fl (62)

Good rates - especially weekly. Ships store has reasonable prices (thats a first). Marina folks are friendly and go out of their way to help.

Great Stop over Marina, 2013-03-17
Captain: , lighthouse point (289)

Nice and protected with a decent shipstore and wondeful staff. Not much within walking distance but did find a great Mexicn restaraunt across the street. Lots of manatees to watch in the marina.

Need to stay longer, 2013-03-13
Captain: , St. Thomas, USVI (624)

We were just passing through on our way south and stayed only one night (January 2013), but we would definitely return here for a longer visit. We did not see any manatee as we got in late in the day and left early in the morning so there was no time to explore, but we were greeted by several large wood storks (endangered species) who were lurking around the adjacent park and near the local families fishing on the banks. I was able to get close enough for a great photo of one.

Lots to offer, 2013-03-06
Captain: , Wilmington, IL (41)

Agree with other reviews on hospitality of marina. We had to rewire an engine after a fire and found everything we needed in town. Don't miss the rock shrimp at Dixie Crossroards restaurant !! Active captain says marina now has a courtesy car, which significantly eases the 1.5 mile didtance to the restaurant.

A Very Good Marina, 2013-02-13
Captain: , Sandusky, OH (284)

Came here for the Atlas V launch. Great place for viewing. People are very friendly here and the dock staff are there to help you land even if you don't ask. Plus, you can't beat the price. But be aware, if you come to visit the Kennedy Space Center, there is NO public transport to the facility. The best option is to rent a car, about $45 per day. The marina is negotiating with local businesses to provide a shuttle bus, but at this time, none exists. Marina is very sheltered from winds in all directions and there are great parks north and south of it. Good stop.

Great place to stop, 2013-02-05
Captain: , Sanford, Fl. (887)

Great place to stop and spend some time. Nice park on the south side of the marina. New dog park on the north side of the marina. Professional and friendly staff. Several restaurants within walking distance. Small friendly downtown area. We stayed here again for 2 months ending the 1st of February 2013. The store is even better stocked than it used to be. The really great news is that the city has put in a new sidewalk from the marina to downtown. The rates have been reduced and are even more reasonable. Titusville continues to be one of our favorite stops

Municipal does not mean less than, 2013-01-13
Captain: , Browns Cove, MD (402)

We spent one night here on one of the T-heads enroute to Ft Myers. The staff was helpful, the ships store well stocked, laundry and showers clean. Many times these are more valuable to transients than fancy, high priced facilities. If all you're doing is traveling the ICW on a run South or North, this is a great stopping point. We walked to dinner about 10 min away which was fine with us.

Marina great, town is not, 2013-01-08
Captain: , Roseville MN (398)

We liked the marina, and the wildlife near Titusville. But the city is dreadful, depressing and depressed - at least, within walking distance of the marina. Looks like this town has seen much better days. Loved eating at Dixie's Crossroads (great rock shrimp), but an ugly long walk for almost 2 miles to get there. Would have stayed another day, but wanted out. 4 star marina, 2 star town.

Good place to siit out a bad weather day., 2012-12-26
Captain: , Jacksonville, Florida (311)

We have stayed here before in the mooring field. Came in Christmas day to set out a impending front moving through. A little bit of a rough dinghy ride coming in to the marina, but showers and restrooms are good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not a great deal to do in Titusville itself, but it is close to downtown and a CVS and Kentucky Fried Chicken. There is also an nice restaurant on the ICW at the bridge we have walked to. Looks like the Active Captain vessel is in dock in the marina today.

Fun and friendly, 2012-12-21
Captain: , Stony Point, NY (852)

We came in and got fuel - Boat US discount will take off 5 cents/gal and 25% off dockage. We moved to "E" dock - floating concrete with short fingers. Dock master Donny helped guide us in stern first and tied us up. Nice liveaboard neighbors. Very friendlyand welcoming.

Ship store with a few things, walked about 1/2 mile to small supermarket. Clean laundry and showers. Nice park next door with great space to walk and views of the bridge and waterway.

Well worth the stop.

Very nice stop, 2012-12-16
Captain: , Oriental (270)

We arrived here on Fri. 12/14/12. Easy docking after navidating the channel in at low tide with lowest depth about 8 feet. The docks are fixed and high but very sturdy and nice. We had plenty of friendly help docking.

Bath house and showers are clean and nice shower head. Ventilation is not great but they run a fan in the bath house to try to help out. Laundry - big machines $1 wash and $0.50 dry for about 1/2 hour each. Nice! and in its own pretty clean space with a large lending library.

Marina was right on suggesting U Save car rental for the day to get us to Kennedy Space Center. They are just a ways down the road but better yet pick you up promptly and allow you to leave the car at the marina for them to pick up without your help. We picked up car Fri afternoon and had it for the whole day and dinner out, turned in the keys to the marina and the charge including insurance coverage (we opted for) and taxes was about $66. Good deal - told a cab one way would be $35.

Great WiFi here. Lovely, large, covered 'porch' area and screened in area with TV along marina office front on the water. Very much appreciated a boatside pumpout.

BONUS - for those with dogs (not us) or kids (us!) there is a fantastic park contiguous with the marina. It has large fenced in areas for dog parks (2) and a skate park! It has bathrooms, playground, ball field, covered pic nic areas with charcoal grills.

Short finger piers required us to back in, 2012-12-07
Captain: , Algonac, MI (1659)

People were friendly. Bathrooms very basic. The space walk museum is a must-see for people interested in seeing what the NASA employees and contractors stole and then donated to assuage their guilt. Town is hurting.

Great fuel and water stop, 2012-12-05
Captain: , Washington, DC (435)

We stopped southbound on our way to the SSCA Gam. Dockmaster very skilled in assisting; gave accurate approach info for our deep draft, handled lines professionally, and helped us with trash/etc. Looks like a great place to spend more time and we will on another trip.

Titusville Municipal Marina, 2012-11-26
Captain: , Bristol, RI (240)

We spent a week here as a stop over on Thanksgiving and to leave Tomfoolery whiile we drove to visit family. The marina is clean, freshly painted heads and showers. Fresh flowers in the Ladies room were appreciated. Some of the concerns were things the staff has no control over. Our slilp was open to current on the ICW. While we were here, there were many days of high winds and rough seas. The black birds were a problem. Following the lead of sailors around us, we draped the boat in ribbons to scare off the birds. For the most part, the ribbons worked. The staff was friendly. The ships store is convenient. Shopping is within walking distance as well as an excellent bakery and two relaxing coffee shops.

Friendly, helpful, conveneient, 2012-11-25
Captain: , Live-a-board (350)

Came in for fuel then a mooring ball, wind was howling and pressing me to the dock. The team there was understanding that it was late in the day and additional refueling was unlikely and we worked out me staying pressed against the refueling dock with some fenders rather than run risk damage to my vessel. Got off the next morning before wind filled in. Stayed 4-5 days due to weather and these guys were awesome.

'The Coffee Shoppe' A Great Place To Eat Lunch In Titusville, 2012-11-21
Captain: , Kinsale, VA (91)

Go to the "The Coffee Shoppe" in Baldwin Plaza - 125 Broad Street - in Titusville. Only a short walk south from the Municipal Marina, and just off Rt. 1. Where all the 'locals' go for lunch. Don't miss it.

Mooring Field, 2012-11-04
Captain: , London (342)

Arrived and picked mooring ball with no trouble. Call marina on telephone and pay with c/c or go ashore and visit marina office. Half mile to local shops, restaurants, bars, a CVS pharmacy and a supermarket all in easy reach.
Low speed area so mostly no wakes in mooring field. Price was $15 per night (Nov 2012). Marina has aging fixed docks and offers fuel. Internet reaches out to mooring field most time but a visit ashore and there is a TV room with table for surfing & email. Overall good stay and nice friendly people.

On mooring ball, 2012-10-13
Captain: , Key West, FL (90)

Was really disappointed after reading the other reviews. We thought we would stop over hear for a couple of nights. Originally planning to stay more than two nights. There was a Lake Wind Advisory in affect during our time on the mooring and the wind was howling out of the northeast. Made for a bumpy couple of days. There is absolutely no protection from the wind, except maybe a west wind.

A good stop, 2012-09-22
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (2421)

With BoatUS discount of $1.20 per foot, this is a good stop. We took a bicycle to the ABC liquor store about 1.5 miles away, and stopped at the Sav-a-Lot gorcery and CVS on the way back. The showers were older but large, nice, and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

A Regular stop over, 2012-07-30
Captain: , St Augustine, Fl (467)

They have a well stocked marine store and there are available services nearby. The washer and dryer worked well and were fairly priced. make sure you to not let to much bridle out on the mooring balls here, as I got twisted up. I thought I was in tight but they have a bit of slack on there mooring and with the tide shift it can be a concern. All in all a nice marina with frindly staff.

Mooring field--a great bargain, 2012-06-23
Captain: , GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL (736)

This is one of our few marina stops on the ICW. The mooring field is close to the marina cove, and protected from most winds. The marina has good facilities, including modern, clean and inexpensive laundry: $1 wash, $0.50 dry.

Have seen worse., 2012-06-20
Captain: , Isle of Palms, SC (219)

Stayed here 1 night-- 6-19-12. Only one set of docks floating and not in the best of repair. Lot of liveaboards. No criticism meant here and met really nice folks on their leveaboard taht helped us dock. Power was not good and went out about 2am and had to change pedestals. I saw nothing interesting nearby at all and left with first light this am. Would probably go somewhere else unless had no choice in the future.

Mooring Balls, 2012-05-16
Captain: , Boothbay Harbor, Maine (310)

The mariona is excellent as noted in previous reviews. A fairly recent addition are 50 mooring balls north and south of the entrance channel. First come, first serve, but with 50 of them - should not be a problem. And only $15.90/night.

Dockhands were pleasant and knowledgeable. Staff in general was pleasant and helpful. We kept our boat for an extended stay there unattended and felt it was very safe. Restrooms were clean, and there3 were nearby CVS and convenient stores. Do not miss a trip to the Kennedy Space Center - rent a car and go.

Good weekender, 2012-04-28
Captain: , Lighthouse Pt, Florida (90)

Good stop for a weekend. Stay 2 nights and get the 3rd free. Enterprise rental car is about 1 mile away with the weekend special. There is only about 6inch tide change, so it was easy to leave the boat and explore without worrying about the lines. Easy access to Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, Orlando.

new mooring balls, 2012-04-06
Captain: , Mattituck, NY. (371)

The area outside the marina is now all mooring balls for boats to 60 feet. $15.00 plus tax a night.

Great price for diesel, 2012-03-24
Captain: , Stuart, Fl (42)

We stopped for diesel at the marina. The price was $3.99 and we were able to use our Boat US and MTOA discount. Plus the staff was super nice, helpful and very friendly. The pump out area was very convenient and no charge.

Captain: , Annapolis, MD (343)

Very nice city marina. Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice wide fairways made docking easy. City/provisions are within walking distance. Well stocked marina store. Fair price (w/ Boat US Discount). They also had a very large mooring field for those hoe wanted to stay on the hook.

Great stop over, 2012-03-16
Captain: , Oviedo (306)

Competent, friendly, helpful.
Just don't take the T-Head near the inlet with NE winds.

Cordial Inexpensive Nice, 2012-03-10
Captain: , Littleton, NC (416)

Have stayed there 3 times (once a year) every year it gets better. Lots of "permanent" live aboards and locals. Boat US gets dockaage at $1.20 Ft. Gas discount of $.10/gallon if you pay in cash and have Boat US. Laundry is $1.00 Wash $0.50 Dry. NIce Place, pretty picnic areas.

Another great Muni, 2012-02-29

Great Marina with very friendly staff. Captains lounge and store on premises. Clean restrooms and showers. Reasonable prices

Any port in a storm, 2012-02-04
Captain: , Sanford, FL (657)

We spent five nights on a mooring ball, with some heavy winds and heavier wakes. I would suggest that if youstay on a ball you find one farthest from the ICW.
Marina personnel were nice, very helpful, but not very knowlegeable about the area. We found a bus stop just outside the Marina which we used to get to Wally World. North of the Marina is a very good Chineses buffet restaurant - very good food. Ace hardware is about three miles away - they have zincs of all sizes and shapes.

Well rounded marina, 2011-12-07
Captain: , Flagler Beach, Florida 32136 (305)

7/6/11, Been usling this marina for 16 years. Never had a bad night or day with these folks. Spent 3 days with them at the last shuttle launch. Stayed the last day just because we likes where we were. Nice walk into town, Good resturant near buy. Good facilities all around. Friendly staff in ships store as well as the dock crews. Will stop by every trip by Titusville.

Cheap Moorings and Cheap Groceries, 2011-12-01
Captain: , Padanaram, MA (259)

Nice folks here and good facilities. The Save-a-lot grocery store is like the ocean state job lot of grocery stores! Cheap deals - good place.

Thanksgiving and a 3 day stop, 2011-11-25
Captain: , Solomons, MD (1290)

The marina was a very hospitable stop. It is well run with regular staff and supplimented by part-time employees among live aboards. We were ably assisted on entering and leaving the slip in heavy winds. Docks, fixed and floating, were in great condiition. It appeared that the restrooms/shower facilities had been upgraded, very clean. Laundry had 3 washers/3 dryers, $1.00 washers and $.50 for the dryers. Well stocked ship store. Fuel and pump out facilties are available and pumpout will come to your boat. There is a new 100 ball mooring field that cruisers are starting to use at $15 a day which gives them access to all the marina facilities. We were there for Thanksgiving and benefiited and enjoyed the pot luck dinner organized by cruisers on D dock. While the surrounding area has limited stores to walk to, there is a CVS and Sav-ALot gorcery. There is a great park and you can run/walk over the bridge for a great view. Will return.

Beautiful spot, 2011-09-29
Captain: , Greenville TX (580)

We stopped overnight here. The dockmaster was very helpful and friendly, nice ships store, and a great restaurant 5 min walk away. Definitely will come back

secure anchoring area and use of dinghy dock, 2011-07-09
Captain: , New Orleans (651)

we stayed here for a week to view the last shuttle launch and to tour Kennedy Space Center. The town has all one needs within a few blocks. The city bus passes hourly for larger shopping at Walmart, Target, etc. The dinghy dock is free for one week, but we paid a nominal fee to use the laundry and restrooms. There is a screened lounge with tv. There are many manatees and dolphins in the harbor to watch. They were short on keys so we had to return our key after each use. We motored north of the bridge for an unobstructed view of the launch. Take the van for hire to see the Kennedy Space Center - memorable. Anchoring in 10' of good mud was very secure right outside of the harbor.

Nice stop in Manateeville!, 2011-05-28
Captain: , Josephine Alabama (183)

Very nice for an older municipal marina. Dock personnel were very helpful. Friendly, lot of locals. The manatees in the marina were amazing. The only negative would be that the marina is sort of isolated. You pretty much would need a cab to get anywhere with the exception of one restaurant, Cracker Jacks, which was ok.

Fuel prices were good. Offered Boat U.S. discount, plus discount for paying by cash or check. Also, discount would apply if you got over 300 gallons by credit card.

Shuttle Launch, 2011-05-22
Captain: , Bagdad, Florida (286)

Enjoyed our stay here for the launch of the Space shuttle Endeavor. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Would stay here again.

Big slips and clean., 2011-05-18
Captain: , Milwaukee, WI (91)

Nice sized slips. We had a 60 footer and it was a very good size for us. There is no tide!! The guy told us to tie it up tight because no tide. The place was very clean, there was alot of nice boats in there. We had some eisenglass work done right next door to the marina while we stayed overnite so that was a big plus. Walking distance to a few shops. The CVSpharmacy should have everything you need. We will stay again when we pass by.

Good Stop on way North, 2011-05-04
Captain: , Dover DE (228)

Clean facility w/good rest rooms/showers. Very helpful staff! Close to grocery and stores. Cruisers Potluck last Saturday monthly.

Manatee Cove, 2011-04-20
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (326)

We love this place after a two day stay. It will be longer on the way back south come fall.
Great staff, clean facility, dog walking is good, ships store is good.
There are about 40 manatees living here. We nearly ran over a heard of 'em going to the pumpout on the way in.
Next year they will have a mooring field off the inlet with ~70 balls. We will be back!

Great place for shuttle launch, 2011-03-08
Captain: , North Carolina (344)

We were here for two weeks and saw both the Discovery launch and a rocket launch.

Restrooms and showers older but clean and well supplied.

East winds causes a lot of rocking on "B" dock.

Staff friendly and helpful.

Good for shuttle viewing, 2011-03-03
Captain: , Bonita Springs (484)

Stayed here for the Discovery launch and had a great time. Quite a crowd showed up to watch the launch.

Easy in and out and everything was in pretty good shape. They are renovating the park next door and will have a dog park there. The dock staff said the permits and hardware were in place for the moorings and that the mooring field would be operational this summer.

nice spot to come in after some long days, 2011-02-02
Captain: , Newport,RI (178)

Have been here 5 times over the last 10 years, either going down or back from FL / Bahamas. Very good staff, nice store, decent fuel prices. Not much to walk to, but usually just looking for a safe marina to come and go.

Captain: , Illinois (2422)

Nice marina. Shower house clean. Good supply of supplies and guides.

Good Fuel Prices, 2011-01-26
Captain: , Palm Coast, FL (385)

Staff is nice and helpful but the docks are starting to show their age and wear. Good protection from current but a North or Northeast wind can make it difficult.

Nothing around it, very isolated.

New Mooring Field Coming Soom, 2011-01-26
Captain: , Indian Harbour Beach, FL (105)

Titusville city council voted to accept state and federal funds for construction of a 75 space mooring field that they estimate could be done by June of 2011.

Friendly and Helpful, 2011-01-23
Captain: , Niceville Florida (280)

Jut stayed here two nights this month. I always try to use this marina when I don't anchor out in this area. Super friendly staff and so helpful. Always someone, usually several, folks to catch dock lines. Enterprise is very helpful here and I have used them several times. Also it is a dog friendly area with places to walk your dogs away from the marina (remember to pick up after your dog). One of my favorite stopping places. Well protected from those NE winds that can catch you on this wide stretch of the river. The showers are old, but the water is really hot.

Helpful staff, 2011-01-22
Captain: , Palm Beach Gardens, FL (1897)

Stayed two nights, it is a protected marina with very helpful staff but the bathroom facilities were poor. Definitely take your shower shoes.
The ships store was well stocked with everything from liquor to ice cream.
Quite a few liveaboards and dogs at the marina who were helpful with questions etc.
Enterprise Rentals picked and dropped us off and we visited the Kennedy Space Center which was pretty close by.
Save Alot shopping is close by other Supermarket(s) etc is a drive with the layoff off over 6000 NASA employees the towns people are concerned about its future

What we all want in a marina, 2011-01-18
Captain: , santa fe,nm (30)

I agree with all that has been said...great prices, people who are friendly and helpful, nice store with cold beer and wine, reasonably priced. Pump out boat, free, give a few buck to driver, they do special job. Fishing from your boat is good. Captain David Cohen

A Real Bargain, 2011-01-10
Captain: , Oriental, NC (136)

What a pleasant experience after staying at marinas who make no bones about not wanting transients. $1.20 a ft, pay for two days get the third free. I will stop here again.

Great stop, 2010-12-09
Captain: , Kingston, Ontario (1880)

Very friendly staff, nice neat store, close to town and clean facilities. Laundry room had lots of washers and dryers and were cheap (.50 a load). With Boat US discount a great place to stay for a day or two.

Nice Marina with easy access to town, 2010-12-08
Captain: , Full Time Cruisers (2244)

Nice marina. One reviewer wrote of difficulty getting to town. When you exit the marina do not cross Route 1. When exiting Marina Road go to your left through park. Crossover road to bridge and walk along road next to condos to space park on your right. Cross road when you see CVS to get to discount propane and Save Alot grocery store. Dinghy dock is free between dock C & D.

OK stop, but continue on to Cocoa Village, 2010-11-22
Captain: , Sarasota (1427)

Rate USD $1.20/ft (BoatUS) $9/50A Helpful staff (for a municipal marina), small chandlery with basics, docks in good shape (we were on the floating dock). Not a convenient walk to town (along Rt 1). Small grocery with limited selection, but had the basics. Excellent sandwich shop and excellent bakery in town. Nice park next to marina. Boat yard next door to marina.

A delightful, low key stop over., 2010-03-28
Captain: , Charleston SC (805)

Clean marina with sturdy docks,, friendly and knowledgeable staff, good facilities with out being pretensous, " Old Florida". Well situated for provisioning etc. Fuel at eaesily accesssable !..

Service should be the key, 2010-03-16
Captain: , Newville (488)

Arrived on a really windy day; dock staff was great. Office staff was lackadaisical once they found out we were anchoring rather than taking a slip. Could not get a shower key card before 0800, which sort of defeats an early departure. Ok stop but I don't think we'll rush back

Great place to stay over night!!!!, 2010-02-23
Captain: , Gainesville (31)

Stayed for an overnight, on my way to Daytona Beach. Friendly staff, good and secure restrooms with showers. Fueling was easy.
There are restraunts within walking distance.

Great Stop, 2009-06-05
Captain: , Memphis TN (977)

Study fixed piers, friendly people. Small ships store. This was a great stop for several days with my grandkids aboard. We spent a day at the Kennedy Space Center, a day in the wildlife preserve, and a day over in SeaWorld. Great location to get to many things.

decent stop, 2008-04-06
Captain: , Tampa, Fl (27)

can walk to a park and a burger king
decent showers, decent ships store

new fixed docks, 2008-01-11
Captain: , Belhaven, NC (363)

The new docks are the sturdiest I've seen. The fuel and pumpout are at the ends of two different docks, but very easy to get to. This is a very secure place to ride out a three day blow out of the north.

Great stop, 2007-07-12
Captain: , San Francisco (39)

You probably would not believe this is a town run marina. Very very good facilities even if there is not much to do in Town. Close to West Marine, a machine shop, groceries and propane filling station. Excellent showers, laundry and fuel facilities. Controlling depth of approach at mlw is more like 6', but mud.
