Expertise, Service, and Value, 2016-08-15

We brought our trawler here the end of July to install new refrrigerator and freezer and to address rainwater getting into our boatdeck from where we did not know. As soon as we docked, Randy and his technicians came aboard to assess our issues. I was impressed with their collective concern that the esthetics of the cabinetry and proper ventilation around the new refrigerator & freezer fit in perfectly with our galley. Drew's work to solve these problems was excellent and cost effective. The electrical system had been poorly rigged to accomodate the old AC refrigerators and freezers. More work than we had planned, but Jess unravelled the mess, simplified it, and even worked late into the evening to get us on our way. Rick, their fiberglass expert did a marvelous job on various stress cracks, nicks & chips color matching the gelcoat. Taylor kept in close touch with us while we were away off the boat. The oversight and coordination on our project by Taylor and Randy was outstanding. Laura in the front office and Wylie in parts also looked after shipments coming to us, though not related to the boat. The technical skills, professionalism, and customer centric attitude of this family owned and run boatyard are simply the best I have ever encountered, anywhere.

clean and helpful, good facilities, 2015-11-03

Came here to try to debug an engine/prop problem. Very helpful staff. Knowledgeable and capable. We hauled quickly and Lee carefully disassembled and inspected the prop installation. Randy, the owner, drove my brother to the hardware store to find some nuts that he didn't have in stock at the marina. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Fair prices. Filled up with fuel and water then tried to install an impeller into a newly mounted water pump on the generator. Turned out the new water pump had not had an impeller in it when we put it on. Oops! We couldn't get any of the spare impellers to fit. Finally gave up and asked Lee who took a quick look. Turned out a boat he had recently worked on had a similar issue - Westerbeke had changed the slot size on the new replacement pumps rendering our spares useless. Unfortunately Tiffany's keeps a small parts inventory and although they had the old impeller, they didn't have the new. We could have overnighted the part, but it was around 5 pm now, so we opted to handle that issue later.

Overall an excellent experience, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Easy to get to - docks were around 11' depth. No worries about depth all the way here as long as you avoid the side shoals, which are well charted and marked.

Excellent, expert, friendly service, 2015-07-30

We were northbound from Florida and experienced electrical wiring problems. Our refrigerator also went caput. Jess, the electrician at the yard, expertly diagnosed two bad ground wire connections as well as a broken wire from an oil pressure sending unit. He had to re-run a new connection from both helms down to the engine room. Work was done expertly and efficiently.

I took advantage of the opportunity to have oil and filter changes, which was completed by Lee, with no mess or spillage (and he taught me how to do it myself next time). The staff also removed the defunct refrigerator in about 30 minutes time, without marring any wood during the process.

I couldn't be more happy with the service here at Tiffany Yachts. Prices are reasonable. Great personalized service.

This is a terrific spot to have work done: Exceptional work and very nice people. The trip up the Great Wicomico is lovely, too.

Quality Boat Yard, 2013-06-19
Captain: , Wicomico Church, VA (41)

Have brought our boat here for spring haul out for several years. They do an excellent job at a fair price. They get a little busy at the beginning of the season, but, they seem to always work you in. Gary the yard manager will work closely with you if you have any unusual repairs or needs.

We purchased our boat from Tiffany Yachts and were hesitant to have them do work and upgrades until we heard from others about their excellent reputation. They are knowledgable, friendly and will make sure things are done right. All of the work, from window covers to installing electronics and on to their beautiful woodwork, I know we received excellent work and a great value for our money.

Friendliest Marina, 2012-08-13
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (555)

This has to be one of the friendliest marinas we have visited. We were anchored in beautiful Coles Creek and used their dock several times with our dinghy to buy gas and walk. The yard appears to be clean, well organized and professional.

Tiffany hauled my boat, barrier coated the bottom, did some engine work, canvas and upholstery. Their canvas and upholstery shop is skilled and reasonably priced. I will go back there for additional work. Great folks to deal with.

This is really a great yard that does excellent work at very reasonable rates. They have a 60 ton travel lift which for the area is a good size. They had a fire on the premises (winter 2010) but are re-building a new large building/facility that will have significant interior space that can accomodate most boats. I have used their services many times and always come away pleased.
