Stopped here on the way from NYC to Lake Champlain. 31 A members, the second oldest boat club on the Hudson. Very helpful, nice bar club house with very reasonable achohol prices. Nice showers and very helpful people. Ice available along with gas. Restaurants and Price Chopper Supermarket with in easy walking distance. Seems very safe. Just across the river from the the free Waterford town wall and the entrance to the Erie Canal. Nice helpful people. Fun place.

Visited in July of 2010 on a Sunday. The members were very helpful in helping us get get gas. The Club was closed, but they were willing and able to help us refeul and get on our way North.
