Reviews for The Tilghman Island Inn
Restarant is closed, 2016-06-29

as of July 2016 restaurant and bar appears to be closed - please call before stopping

A Gem of the Bay, 2014-01-09

This facility, operated by famous Chef David McCallum serves top rate food in a place where you'd not expect it. Its a bit pricey but well worth it. Its a must stop for us whenever we go to Tilghman.

A RELAXING WINTER WEEKEND, 2013-12-21
Captain: , ANNAPOLIS (60)

Originally scheduled for a weekend boat trip in August that we had to postpone, we were graciously extended a raincheck by the owners of this resort. We arrived late on a rainy December night, but were warmly greeted and enjoyed a great seafood dinner at the wonderful restaurant at the Inn. The wine list was surprisingly extensive for a "fishing village". Our room featured 18th Century furnishings and charm, with a plush king bed and modern bath. The owners and staff could not have been more accomodating and made a dreary weekend extremely enjoyable and relaxing. We will return next year by boat and enjoy the 'warm weather' activities that the Inn offers.

Restaurant worth a visit, 2013-08-13
Captain: , Londontowne, MD (470)

We stayed at the marina next door, so can only rate the restaurant. Food was good; although the selection wasn't huge, it was easy enough for each of us to find something that looked promising. Presnetation was good. Service was good. Prices were on the high side, but not unusual for the area, the amosphere, and the menu.

Not just a restaurant, 2013-07-09
Captain: , Woodbridge (278)

Two boat, two night transient after the Fourth of July holiday. If you are a %u201Cfoode%u201D this is a must stop on the Bay. Call ahead for dinner reservations as they will only sit a fixed number of people at night. We ended up staying for two nights and the transient fee was very reasonable. There are inn rooms that appear to be frequently sought as we meet many non-local people. Clean facilities and pool. Spent many hours just sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the shade sipping drinks, and watching the boats go up and down the Narrow. Low tide is entertainment time as there was always a grounding or two. Unfortunately, slips do not really accommodate anything from a 13%u20196%u201D beam and up. I could not fully back into the slip and my front end was hanging out much further than I would have preferred for an extended stay. Before you approach, read the tide and current well and be prepared to be heavy on the throttles when necessary.

Excellent restaurant, 2011-09-06

Next door to Tilgham Island Marina. Interesting menu.

Dinner on 28 Aug 2010, 2010-09-01
Captain: , Leesburg VA (155)

Excellent food and atmosphere. 5 course tasting menu without wine was 60 per person - but every dish was spendid. Ala carte items less expensive. Will go back again. Although they have slips, they recommended we stay at marina next door over concerns of 4'-4.5' draft requirements.

A wonderful surprise!, 2007-06-17
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (476)

I remember when this structure was a cinder block chicken coop, but it is far from that today! The chef is masterful, the ambience comfortably elegant. Many of the overnight rooms face the Narrows and have small balconies from which you can watch the comings and goings. After dark you can enjoy the gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub!
The Inn does have transient dockage, but cannot accomodate any size boat. Call ahead for arrangements -- and suggestions for where to dock while you dine there.
This is truly an elegant and delicious stop!
