Reviews for The Royal Canadian Yacht Club
Yellowpiper, 2014-03-28
Captain: , Toronto (23)

One of the nicest clubs in North America, if not the world. This is a sailing club on the island and a multi sports club year round in the city. Full on Family club with 3 eating facilities, pool, tennis etc. Nothing stuffy about the staff or members. Enjoy it, a jewl on the lake.

Very Friendly Members, 2012-04-19
Captain: , Mimico Cruising Club ON Canada (1210)

The members here are very friendly and helpful, as they easily can recognize visitors. The facilities are often busy, in the summer, with day camp participants.

RCYC Toronto, 2011-04-22
Captain: , Toronto (203)

Bit stuffy, but they take sailing seriously here. Extensive learn to sail programs for kids and competitve weekly racing series as well as lawn bowling. 15 min from downtown.

Oh You Have To!, 2011-04-20

The RCYC. This is an old school Yacht Club. Full of pomp and tradition. That's not to say, the staff aren't friendly. They truly are. And the members? They're friendly as well. Many of them buzz around with their yachtie jackets and ascotts, I had to wonder, when was the last time they actually undid the lines on ther boats.
The restaurant is excellent, and reasonably priced.
The view..... Nothing short of spectacular. At night, you're looking across the harbour at the Toronto skyline! Magnificent.
Tnere are numurous bike paths that allow visitors to tour the islands.
And a club shuttle that takes you across the harbour to downtown Toronto. Who could ask for more?
