Reviews for The Marina at Naples Bay Resort
Naples Bay, 2017-02-27

Nice Marina, friendly staff. A little bit out of town. Floating docks are nice. Captains lounge with free laundry is excellent

Protected marina with great amenties/walk to 5th Ave, 2016-11-11
Captain: , Fort Myers, FL (80)

Staff very accomidating, all resort amenties are available to marina guest including pools, spa, workout room, etc. Captains lounge, showers and laundary are readily available and clean. Pump out at the slip. No problem with accessing the marina. Depth is good in center of Channel at low tide, call ahead if you want the particulars.

The Good, the Bad & the Ugly: Boat Rental at Naples Bay Resort, 2016-11-05
Captain: , Hingham, MA (317)

Good: Great day on the water, the right amount of power on the stern, and a friendly, helpful staff. Close covered parking and carts available for moving gear.

Bad: mold and mildew on seat cushions, front seat cushion loose and prone to collapse, and snarled and knotted anchor rode. We were told the time of high and low tide, but no one could tell us the tidal range.

Ugly: $4.00 per gallon for fuel?!? Criminal. Market is $2.50. Could have at least warned us. Helped drive the starting price of $299 up to $419. Catalina Cafe was a disorganized mess - credit card system not working, missed half of our order. Provision elsewhere.

Very nice., 2012-03-12
Captain: , Charlottetown, PEI, Canada (247)

Arrived a couple of days ago. Contacted the dockmaster and he did a good job of guiding us in. Friendly and helpful. Excellent showers, washrooms and laundry facilities. Very well protected marina. If you like a quiet spot, then this is it.

Too bad -- it could be great, 2011-01-26
Captain: , Longboat Key, FL (1089)

Evidently, the three owners are in financial trouble and fighting with each other. As a result, the highly touted "Captian's Lounge" including the heads, showers and laundry are locked closed. Most of the shops are closed and not much else nearby. It is a well protected marina, nice floating docks, very helpful dock master and staff. If they get their act together, I would give it 5 stars. Watch the tides... shallow in spots!

Won't be back, 2011-01-23
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (334)

Most shops closed. Tried to leave at low tide(3.5 draft) but was on bottom. Other boats were too. Long walk to resort facilities. Go somewhere else for two nights or the price of this place.

Upscale resort, 2010-05-19
Captain: , MA and Southwest FL (538)

We spent a long weekend at the resort. We arrived by boat and took a hotel room, too. This is a posh upscale facility with all the ammenities you would ever need. The dockmaster was helpful upon arrival. We enjoyed a luxurious respite and will visit there again.

Great Place, 2010-03-21
Captain: , Sarasota, FL (121)

Came in last Tuesday (3/16) for lunch at Olio - great food and service - but also got great service from the staff of the marina. Came back to overnight on Friday (3/19) and they were again superb. Was caught coming in on one engine, they honored my request for a slip accommodation to assist with my condition and the facilities were grand. Slip fee is on par for a place of this stature ($2.50/ft) and there is a $30/day resort fee. When you see the services at the captain%u2019s lounge and the exercise facility/pool, the $30 is a bargain. All staff, not only marina, were friendly and accommodating and the "harbor" is very protected from any movement. Great place - will definitely return!
