Reviews for The Marina at Cape Harbour
Poor Service For Boat Owners, 2017-02-27
Captain: , Florida (40)

We moved our boat here back in Oct. The DEVELOPMENT MANAGE is anti boat owner. They have taken away over night parking, they allow drunks to abuse the quite marina and board boats as there is no security. They have let the doc get to a point where to trip over rotten boards. The power keeps triping when you run more than two air units and are told the infrastructure is old. The lock is always backed up on weekends and nice sunny days. The pumpout is crap to say the least. I have stayed in hundrens of marinas and this one needs to reflect on what they want to be, a marina or a night club for snowbirds.

lots of potential , 2015-12-09

Called on radio ... No answer. Called on the phone ... No answer. Tied to the wall ... No assistance. Office is about 3 blocks away ... The guy at the desk didn't know how to check us in, said we needed to come back later. The combination on the women's shower didn't work, she used the men's.

After all that, we found the place very enjoyable. Good facilities, good shops and restaurants.

Fuel is outside the marina, before the lock.

Nice For the Price, 2014-02-03

We are leaving our sailboat here for two months, and could not be happier with the location, the facilities and the amenities. Several restaurants along the dockside promenade, along with other shops. The lock is no big deal, and with all of the high rises surrounding the marina, it feels pretty snug. Month to month pricing is the best we found in the area.

Great Place, 2013-08-10

I moved my boat here for hurricane season. It is far off the open waters of the Gulf AND it is in a controlled (lock) basin. It also has high rise condos protecting the marina on the north and south. Docks are wooden and could use updating, but overall a very clean, neat facility with shops, restaurants on site. Nearby are Publix, and other shops. Also, VERY reasonably priced compared to other nearby marinas.

Will return for nice venue, 2013-05-04

No answer on radio. Usually plenty of dockage on seawall after entering the small lock. Dockmaster at end of promendade. Nice pool (cool in winter) Shops and 2 great restaurants--Rum Runners and The Joint-+ Run Agrounds for breakfast and great gelato and wifi. Good biking in neighborhood setting. Pet friendly. Nice shops.
Welcome cruising clubs.

What a surprise!, 2012-06-04
Captain: , Boca Raton, FL (1522)

Came here to pickup a 2007 58' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge to deliver to Miami. Could never have guessed this place was such a hidden wonder. Great Restaurants, including a couple of Breakfast places where we were able to buy premade food for out trip to Key West. Would recommend to anyone that is going through this area to stop here. Even had a Green Market on Saturday Morning. Fuel Prices were $1.00 per gallon cheaper then in Key West. With a 16' Beam, coming through the little lock was an experience but great way to keep the harbour more fresh water then salt. Fuel Dock people were great!

Captain: , Whitfield Estates, Sarasota, FL (1001)

They accomidated 22 Albins with ease.. Overnight was $1.00 a foot. The harbor was super quiet and there was no tidal movements and no wakes. There was a large tent for our meetings. My wife was amazed at how low the prices were in the stores. My families dinner for 3 at Rumrunners was $59.60 for three including tip and my wife took home half of her meal because it was so much.

Must access through a small lock., 2012-01-19
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (334)

The marina is nice, and there is shopping around. Rumrunners is a great restaurant. In order to access the marina, you must transit through a small lock.

Fuel is on the outside of the lock and is the cheapest in southwest Cape Coral. However, if you draft over 4 feet be very careful at low winter tides.

Nice stop with all the bells and whistles, 2012-01-14
Captain: , Corpus Christi,Tx (1569)

We stayed 2 days and enjoyed the area. Several great restaurants and shops on site. Fuel was $3.76.9. Surrounded by condos. Publix was 1 mile away and a West Marine was 5 miles making for a long bike ride.

Best fuel prices in the area, 2011-04-20
Captain: , St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (404)

We passed through in April 2011 and diesel was $3.80 including sales tax. They have no quantity discounts or discounts for SeaTow or BoatUS or anything, but their prices are still the best anywhere in the area. Especially when compared to Tarpon Point Marina around the corner that was $4.25 on this same date AFTER applying discounts.

Absolutely beautiful!!!!, 2010-02-18
Captain: , Cape Coral (44)

The Marina at Cape Harbour is a must see! Lots of shops and 4 restaurants, Rumrunners, The Joint, Pignoli & Run Agrounds. My favorite shop is Carried Away. Had an excellent gourmet dinner at Rumrunners. Plan to stay the weekend and you won't be disappointed!!!

Kudos to Realmark, 2009-04-16
Captain: , Punta Gorda. FL (360)

An elegant marina. Quiet despite surrounding condos.
Very long side-tie transient dock. Small but pleasant pool.
Well-regarded Rumrunner restaurant always has slow service & average food in my experience. Nice coffee/ice cream shop on site in addition to the casual restaurant/bar.
I'm told the wait for the lock can be long on weekends at peak time, a site of boater's road rage.

nice selection of restaraunts, 2007-11-21
Captain: , ft myers beach (790)

From the Joint which is casual to Rumrunners which is one of best restaraunts in area. Nice dockage at Rumrunners, you have to go through Chaquita lock for the Joint and others. Towboat US and Sheriff's marine office located there.
