Reviews for The Inn at Clarks
OK in a Pinch, 2013-08-15

I've had problems with wash from passing Towboats. Use fender boards if you have'em. Strong North wind can make it interesting when leaving the bulkhead.

Clark's Marina, 2013-03-13

Basic, but cheap. A suitable one-night stopover on the ICW between Houston and Corpus. Side ties with a concrete keyside and timber piles. No other facilities or amenities nearby.

Dolphins, dolphins, dolphins..., 2012-06-25

We stayed one night at the cannal slip and had a good time. Saw dolphiins up and down the cannal all day & night. Swimming was also great off the boat (and water was nice). Clarks resto is closed and no grocery close by. Pizza place delivers.... be aware -> alot of of stickers in the area...

Just a stop over, 2011-12-16
Captain: , St Augustine, Fl (452)

As all the others have said justa stop with very little to offer if any thing. The night lady clerk at the inn was as much help that can be expected. They did have a continental brekfast that was brought out to the table on request but the day cleark seemed to care less. nothing to offer except a tie up.

Another stop, 2009-10-26
Captain: , Belton, TX (94)

It's a small, very basic facility. However, the approach is easy, it's just far enough off the ICW that we didn't notice much effect from wakes, and it is fairly quiet. A reasonable place for an overnight stop but beware that if it's Sunday afternoon/evening there's nothing to eat nearby.

Not Bad, 2009-10-09
Captain: , Seabrook, Tx. (33)

A few transient slips with electrical hook ups (50 amp 125/250v). The Inn is nice ($125 per night) with 2 queens. The grumpy woman running it is pretty entertaining. Handicap access. The restaurant closes at 2pm on Sunday so we missed out. Carmine's is a short 3 block walk up the main road. Good cajun seafood and they give you a ride back.

It's a stop..., 2008-10-22
Captain: , Houston, TX (1409)

3-4 side ties. Concrete bulkhead with some sparse pilings to tie to. Power at three out of four, #13 (the closest to the ICW) doesn't have a power outlet. Oyster shell lot with grass burrs almost defies walking, which you have to do to get to Clark's restaurant (worth the visit) or the office at the hotel to check in. At $1.00 a foot, probably better to anchor out unless you just want to visit Clark's restautant. Restrooms at the hotel but no showers, closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
