Reviews for The Lighthouse Restaurant and Lounge
Restaurant not to be missed, 2017-06-05

On a cruise to Washington, we had dinner here on the return trip. My wife had French, and I had Thai. Both were as good as we have ever had. The prices are very reasonable for such superb dining. The service was excellent, in a very pleasant setting, overlooking Monroe Bay. If in Colonial Beach, do not miss this.

We would have walk rigth past it if not highly recommended. We would have been sorry if we had. A Wonderful menu and food. As mentioned you might want to take your camera just for the food presentation. A meal like this in Alexandria would be in the $40 to $50 range. Here it was less than $20. My wife had Thai and I had streak....fantastic meal and view to the bay. Will always stop here on our way down the Potomac.

Tied up dinghy here to grocery shop and had lunch on return. Not only was the food excellent with generous portions (we took leftovers back to boat) but the presentation was outstanding! We took photos of each dish as they were so artistically done. Also the restaurant is on the little local bus route and they have free wi-fi that really works. Don't miss it.

The restaurant is now a French-Thai restaurant. The former owner/chef of Seascape has split with his partner and took over the Lighthouse.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The Thai dishes seem authentic? The new owner is Thai. The French dishes are great, as well.
Plenty of dock space.

Great Food and Setting, 2012-06-18

This restaurant is now The Lighthouse and is excellent. Located at the Bayside Marina receives a lot of drive in customers and some boat-in. Plenty of room at the docks and up to four and a half feet of water depth at the piers. Restaurant menu includes fried and broiled seafood and a variety of other items. Good service and reasonable prices.

Food is reasonably priced and fun crowd, 2011-07-12

Recommended for Weekend evening of fun and drinking at a reasonable cost.
