Reviews for Tempe Town Lake Marina
Tempe Town Lake Marina and Boat Storage, 2012-08-04
Captain: , Mesa, Arizona (113)

The Tempe Town Lake Marina has limited slip space but has an adjacent mast-up storage lot as well as a secure facility with racks for storing paddlecraft. Mast-up storage fees are about $600 to $900 per year. Temple Town Lake (TTL) is a small lake created in 1999 as an impoundment of the Salt River, and is used by smaller sailboats and paddlecraft. Internal combustion motors are prohibited and sailboats are limited to a 30 foot mast height. TTL has a concrete boat ramp, courtesy dock, and disability access. Swimming is prohibited except for certain organized events. Daily or annual ($50 non resident) permits are required. TTL is home to the Arizona Sailing Foundation, which offers sailing lessons as well as high school and junior high school sailing. The Arizona Yacht Club hosts dinghy sailboat races at TTL on many Sunday afternoons. TTL is also host to many rowing/paddling organizations. Permits and forms are available at the Tempe Parks office upstairs in the library at 3500 South Rural Road, south of Southern Ave.
