Reviews for Sweetwater Landing
Not th cheapest fuel but VERY helpful, 2017-03-13
Captain: , High Springs, FL (778)

We were running on fumes after being delayed over 2 days on a crossing through the locks and they were the only marina that was open at 0800 on a Sunday.

I called ahead and they were ready for me. The fairway leading back is a little tight and the turn basin is as well but the guys on the dock were very helpful. We fueled, pumped out and were on our way in less than 30 minutes.

Comfortable overnight, 2016-04-23
Captain: , santa barbara (696)

Spent the night on the outside of the dock - had about 9' of water, had ample power and relatively quiet night. Bridge closes at night thus no boat traffic of significance, some noise from trucks, but fairly minor. Staff was courteous, noted there will be a restraunt on site in near future.

great marina, 2014-11-16

I have my boat there. Checked many other marinas... this is the nicest one in area with competitive prices!

Looks Good, 2013-09-07
Captain: , Oviedo (306)

Did a drive by there today (looking for a place to leave our boat for a month or so)
Very well kept. And the rates are good.

Great Folks, 2013-06-06

I have my boat there..and they are more than willing to help in anyway

Easy access, friendly., 2013-06-02

June 1, 2013. Used them after finding Rialto closed. Good fixed docks with excellent power. Used outside exposed fixed. Didn't see anything less than 8 ft. Next to bridge. Quick open. Didn't use anything inside. Ordered pizza to boat.

Very neat and clean marina, 2013-05-12
Captain: , Sarasota (1427)

Had planned to stay at Rialto, but with their closing, had to find another place. This place was recommended and we were very pleased. We stayed in the harbor (6-6.5 ft) at a side-tie. Staff was very helpful - came by to get our trash, asked if we needed to go anywhere, and offered to let us use the office computer because they don't have wifi - if they get more transients, I'll bet they put it in. Four stars because of no internet - a requirement these days.

Well maintained small marina with nice face dock worked well for us, 2013-04-06
Captain: , Nashville,TN (437)

First, the staff are very nice and very helpful.
We spent three nights at the new looking, very sturdy, fixed face dock along the river, waiting out bad weather. Large fenders were required because a few passing boats left inconsiderate wakes but we liked the easy access anyway and most boats slowed. You can tie inside the face dock, too, for better protection. Adjacent, there's a very large grassy field where our min-poodle chased Frisbee; be sure to remove your pet poop!
Excellent pedestals, power and water. Vehicles on the nearby bridge are somewhat noisy but there's little night time traffic; we hardly noticed them. The marina office sells a very few small items and snacks. The rates are much lower than Fort Myers closer-in but you're also pretty isolated; we heard there's a Publix and good pizza about a mile away. All seems well maintained.

Friendly Marina but not much else, 2012-10-23
Captain: , Palmetto (422)

Nice place for a quick stop. There is some traffic noise from nearby highway 31, but it was not noticeable at night. The heads are clean, they are located in a yellow building (on your right when entering the marina), so the closer you are the more convenient the heads. Very nice dog walk area.

Sweetwater Landing, 2011-03-19
Captain: , Knapps Narrows Md (450)

We spent the winter of 2011 at Sweetwater Landing working on our Monk 36. They have good monthly rates and the people are very nice. It is well protected with 4.5 to 5 foot depths inside and long finger piers. Nice shower and laundry facility. Only problem is they don't have diesel. They have a rolling pump out trailer and will come any day you ask. 30 and 50 amp at each slip.

Livaboard here, 2008-01-24
Captain: , N Ft Myers, Fl (43)

I moved my trawler here in September of 07. I like the people, very helpful. There are 4 livaboards here and a good place to store boat. Very secure. Close to I-75 and there is a new Publix up the road. The only drawback is they only have gas, no diesel.
