Reviews for Swan Creek Marina
Swan Creek Mooring, 2017-09-23
Captain: , Transient (204)

Wonderful marina and staff. Mooring field has about 20 moorings for $30/night. Booking is easy through Dockwa. Easy walk to town to grocery store, which has a free shuttle to return you to marina. Take dinghy around the corner to town beach. Very laid back. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.

Very nice people , 2017-09-22

The owner and staff were extremely accommodating on a busy July 4th weekend. We are definitely returning on another trip!

We stay here every year and use the mooring balls for a change of pace and you save money over slip fees. The marina is nothing fancy and has a dingy dock. The family owners are very friendly. The Swan Creek view is delightful and if you need a pool on a hot day you can pay the small fee at two nearby marinas.

Nice Facility, 2015-10-15
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (216)

As everyone else stated - the marina is great. I'm using this to vent about the boaters who come in after hours and grab a ball for the night then run off before being "caught." The price is reasonable and less expensive than a slip. If they (you know who you are) don't like it use an anchor (elsewhere). There are plenty of us who are willing to pay.
Thanks for listening!

Love This Marina !, 2015-10-12
Captain: , Berwyn (250)

When we brought our boat from Maine we looked at all the marinas in Rock Hall and chose Swan Creek and couldn't be happier. Lee and Chris (owners)and Kyle are freindly always going out of their way to make us happy Docks are nice and place is quiet and clean facilities. Best sunset in Rock Hall. Close to everything (Shopping, Restuarants, West Marine). Rock Hall has a tram car the rides around town for a dollar a ride) which is very convienent if you don't want to drive and park t the busy eateries.. Already made up our minds to renew our slip for 2016

Very nice family run marina, 2015-08-31

Nice, laid back, clean, friendly small town marina. So beautifully quiet! Bicycle friendly too! Town hosts the BEST ice cream we have enjoyed for awhile - made fresh from local dairy. Also a fantastic quilt shop. To sum it up, don't miss this stop.

Nice marina, nice people, 2015-07-18

Stayed on a mooring ball on July 17, 2015. Offers great people, serenity and captures the small town feeling of rock hall in a great way. Even talked to someone about a haul out, and that went better than I expected as well.

Nice stay, 2015-07-14

We stayed here in a slip for one night; nice and quiet marina. The slips are well-marked so we easily found the one we were assigned. A bit far from town, but the trolley will come pick you up. Bathrooms were clean and everyone is very friendly

Our Home Base, 2014-10-22

A great marina in Swan Creek. We love this location so much we often go out and drop the hook right across the creek! Clean, good docks, pumpout. No pool, but we never used the one at our last marina anyway. Free shuttle to town goes right by. There are a couple of bars and restaurants near enough for a walk in good weather.

Quiet, helpful and pet friendly, 2014-09-18
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (418)

This is one of the cutest little marinas we have come across. Lee and Chris are extremely helpful and polite. The facility is very well kept.
They are very pet friendly and even let dogs come FREE ashore from those who are at anchor nearby. (Out pooch even got a free biscuit.)

Hidden Gem!, 2014-09-03
Captain: , St. Petersburgs (40)

I second the comments from Ivory Lady! After traveling 2000 miles up the coast from West Florida - this was one of the best-run marinas with one of the prettiest setting we have encountered. It's a neat little town and a great stop over. Lee and his son Chris couldn't have been more helpful! It will be a definte do over!

DON'T MISS IT!, 2014-08-20
Captain: , Marathon, Florida (110)

Swan Creek Marina is located in the basin north of Rock Hall in a beautifully secluded & well-protected harbor. Lee Bair & son Chris are extremely helpful and work hard to make a mariner's stay enjoyable. The bathhouse is clean & easily accessible and the grounds are immaculate. Chris has just completed both electronics & diesel engine schools, so is extremely capable in the boatyard. There is a beautiful mooring field as well as the permanent docks. Loaner bicycles make it an easy trip in to town, but Lee is generous with his vehicle as well. As well, a delightful trolley for $1/person will take you anywhere in Rock Hall - very responsive & enjoyable way to travel!

After anchoring beyond the moorings I dinghy'd dog ashore here, and was met by a woman who informed me I must pay $25 to use the dinghy dock to bring dog ashore. I later found a sandy beach across the creek for dog (when tide is low) and Note: called Haven Harbor on radio and they said they would love for us to walk our dog there (no charge). Have since been back to HH to stay in marina. Delightful.

Pirates and Wenches weekend, 2012-08-12
Captain: , Glenwood, MD (385)

Swan Creek Marina was fine, a little far from downtown for the Pirates and Wenches festival and the activities. Although, the distance was welcomed when the party really got rolling. The dockhans were very helpful, the cash or check only policy was a little inconvenient. The marina was in good working shape, electric and water were reliable, docks were in good repair, but watch out for the splinters. A pool would be nice but not essential

A peaceful mooring!, 2012-07-21
Captain: , Rumsey Island (330)

Spent a thunderstorm-wild night here and felt very safe. 30 knots were no problem. Staff very friendly. Lots of osprey and great blue herons! Nothing like riding a mooring.

Peaceful setting, 2012-06-23
Captain: , Solomons Island Md (417)

Caught a morring ball here ($30). Staff was friendly, setting was beautiful and quiet. Its a pleasant place to walk and the dink dock is very close and accessable. We will make this a stop when in the area again. It is a 1.5 mile trip to the main street of town and groceries. Its a 1 mile walk to Harbour Shack and Watermans restaurants near the town basin.

Beautiful Location, 2012-06-09
Captain: , Greenville, N.C. (40)

This is a very nice marina with very friendly staff and owners. The marina is very well protected in just about any kind of weather. Bathrooms are very clean. Downsides-it is a long walk to just about anywhere from the marina but they do have bicycycles for you to use. From my understanding there is a trolley that usually runs in this area but was not running while we were there. Would I go back? Absolutely, but not without transportation.

Nice moorings, 2011-07-20
Captain: , Crownsville, MD (100)

Swan Creek Marina, included in the $30 mooring fee, also offered us free use of their bikes for the day. This was great, since it's about a long walk to Rock Hall.

Rock Hall Fireworks, 2011-01-05

The fireworks at Rock Hall are always on July 3rd

Swan Creek Marina, 2009-01-31
Captain: , Full Time Cruisers (2244)

Good marina for quick access to bay and access to the greatest little town on the East Shore, Rock Hall!.

Swan Creek Marina, 2008-03-12
Captain: , Magothy River, Chesapeake Bay (31)

This is a great place to visit for a quiet weekend. Clean heads with showers, friendly staff, moorings and slips available. Transportation into Rock Hall, other marinas, restaurants, and businesses available by trolley service. Rock Hall also happens to have one of the best fireworks displays on the bay, but check the dates for when they happen.
