Reviews for Coquina Marina
Just a night, 2013-02-27
Captain: , Tracys Landing, Maryland (350)

As other reviews stated, it can be a bit tricky getting on the dock in the wind, and we almost discovered the shallow spot off the southern T head. Once on the dock though, it's a nice place and the folks were friendly over the phone.

Still a good deal, 2013-01-14
Captain: , Southport, NC (120)

Sunset Harbor Yacht Club is no longer a yacht club, they have gone public. Therefore they no longer offer reciprocal yacht club frst night free/$6 for power for other yacht club members. At $1.50 per foot (pool, hot tub, restaurant, laundry, etc.) they are an average deal.

No longer a yacht club, 2013-01-11
Captain: , Port Colborne, On, Canada (70)

Stayed there on Jan. 8 & 9. I asked about reciprocal transient privelege and I was told the they are no longer a yacht club but Dockmaster Rob was kind to let us stay our first night for free.
Nice marina with pool and restaurant. Docks are a little tired. Great Dockmaster.

Take a Pass on this one, 2012-12-06
Captain: , Daytona Beach (42)

Good Club, Good Food, Nice People.... But the docks are falling apart. They are fixed docks, small with little or no protection.

Fabulous Resturant, 2012-05-19
Captain: , Wilmington DE (792)

We have stayed here twice and eaten in the resturant both times. The food is truly first class ($$$). Watch the currents and wind when docking especially at the outer T head. It can be deceptively difficult because there is a hump on the south end of the outer T head that prevents pulling in or out from that direction. 50 amp electric is $10.

One of the nicest places we've stayed, 2012-01-24
Captain: , Cleveland (2083)

We stayed here thanks to MTOA's Yachting Clubs of America's reciprocal agreement, First night free. 30 amp electric was $6. We only stayed one night so it was free docking. This yacht club is relatively new and first rate all the way. Very nice restrooms, showers, heated pool and hot tub. There is a restaurant in the complex but it was closed Mondays, the day we were there. We rode 3/4 of a mile to a diner behind the Harley Davidson Dealer where we had a great breakfast in an old fashioned diner. (try the banana pecan pancakes - half order is huge!.) If you are into motorcycles this is your marina. There are at least three motorcycle dealers and repair shops within walking distance, Harley Davidson, Ducati, BMW, Triumph, Indian and a couple I never heard of. There is little shopping and no restaurants close by but the marina amenities are so nice we rated this four stars.

Good stop in Daytona, 2011-12-03
Captain: , jackson, TN (884)

First night free for reciprocal yacht club members. $6 for electric. Dockmaster Rob is very helpful. Large facility with restaurant and bar. Heated pool, tennis courts and fitness center. Spotless restroom and showers. Not much shopping in the area.

nice facility, 2011-04-06
Captain: , Nashville (260)

Nice stopover w/ helpful dockmaster, nice pool, great restaurant, etc. Docks average condition, largely empty (recent exodus of locals reported, for unknown reason). Did not find much in way of nearby supply facilities or retail on lengthy walk thru neighboring areas. Dog friendly. Reciprocates generously with other clubs.

Stayed here in 2010, 2010-09-17
Captain: , Key Largo (5457)

Fixed docks, if your on the T you willl get some wakes and wave actions if windy.
All their facilities were closed that day, so can't rate the resturant or bar. I will be back.
helpfull dockmaster.

Great club, 2007-04-07
Captain: , fairland (2653)

Wonderful dining, full fitness center, great security. It is private, but they reciprical agreements with certain other clubs.
