Reviews for The Yacht Harbor, LLC
New Owners?, 2016-09-14
Captain: , Manitowoc (133)

The diesel was $2.39 and the pump out was $15.

The slip rate was not cheap but the dock was EXCELLENT. Facilities were limited to laundry and head. Internet was ok if you are close enough.

STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

Just stay away from Freddie the owner. He just seemed ANGRY a lot.

Easy entry into the harbor even for a deeper draft (6') cruiser like mine.

The Quiet Marina, 2007-11-16
Captain: , Punta Gorda. FL (360)

Formerly the class act of Sturgeon Bay, this marina is still fine, assuming you don't want crowds, noise and kiddies in a pool. Advantage: the excellent and friendly Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club next door. Disadvantage: most downtown activity is across the ship channel, about a 3/4 mile walk; no nearby grocery store.

Currently being re-done (2007/2008), 2007-01-19
Captain: , Sturgeon Bay, WI (42)

We had our boat at this marina in 2004 & 2005. We enjoyed the quietness of the marina with most boat owners having homes or cottages in the area, so not many people on their boats over-night. The marina was recently sold and the new owner is starting to tear down buildings and replace the docks. The Sturgeon Bay Yacht club is located in the middle of this marina. Currently no pool or club house -- might be in the future as they re-build.
