Reviews for St Thomas Yacht Club
Great casual club, great source for local info, 2014-02-15
Captain: , Eastport, MD (491)

We beat upwind from Charlotte Amalie to Christmas Cove and while putting the sail cover on noticed a batten poking through it's pocket

Went to STYC for lunch and asked around about sail repair and were pleased to be referred to someone who was perfect. Took the main off next day & removed the full battens, the loaded it into the dingy for the trip over to the club (and another really good lunch). The sailmaker (who happens to be a club member) came by and picked it up right there.

Unfortunately it's only open for dinner on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Great Hospitality for visitors, 2013-12-09
Captain: , Bear Lake, Ut (70)

We have visited twice and were guest for dinner. The YC is a friendly casual environment for visitors and Bill is qa gracious host.

STYC During Rolex, 2011-04-15
Captain: , Seattle, WA (272)

We met the Commodore and his wife the week before Rolex Regatta so when they suggested I volunteer it was a no brainier. The club did an amazing job organizing and executing the Regatta.
They have a tremendous junior sailing program. Everyone was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, even with the buzz of the Regatta.
The only detraction is lack of dock space and services for visiting yachts.
