Reviews for St Katherine Docks
New Year 2015/6, 2016-03-26

Spent a very enjoyable week here for New Year. If you want to visit London and you have a boat, this is the place to stay. Facilities and staff are excellent in the marina with lots of restaurants, shops, cafes etc and it's only a short walk to the London Underground.

It is London, 2012-12-06
Captain: , Jaluit (622)

There is a floating dock in the lock to starboard. There are five yellow buoys outside to tie up and wait but only if you are 40'. Otherwise, if you get here early (and you can get under the bridges) take a river tour of London. Have your insurance papers available. You won't be allowed through the lock without them. Once here it is the best. It is London

Very nice, 2012-07-03
Captain: , Stellendam, Netherlands (123)

The harbour master calls you when it's your turn to enter the lock and points you the side you are to take. The docks are extremely well sheltered, no wind at all inside. You need a code to get access from outside. You can't sail any closer to London than here. Supermarket nearby. You need to make reservations one week in advance. And the view is great!

St Katherine Dock visit, 2010-10-09
Captain: , Breskens (350)

Visited in Sep 2010. Locking in/out very easy. When you need to wait outside you can use mooring buoys for free. Marina well maintained, pontoons in good shape, shower and toilet facilities well kept and clean. Very convenient to visit London. Very well sheltered. Need code to enter marina and camera protected.
