Reviews for St Charles Yacht Club
Great Club, 2017-05-30
Captain: , Bradenton, Florida (107)

We have visited SCYC on three separate occassions and have had been treated wonderfully by both staff and members. The facilities are excellant and well cared for and facilities for visitors exceptional. The only difficulty with the Club is the approach which can be a little difficult for a larger yacht and does require patience and concentration. This is my wife's favorite stop on Florida's west coast.

Great FCYC club, 2017-03-27

Stayed 1 night here and will return. Nick the dock master was extremely helpful as well as all of the employees we met. Docks are in great shape. Free laundry, very clean restrooms, nice pool. Dinner was fabulous.

Delightfull club. Wonderful dockmaster and friendly members, 2016-09-04

We've stopped here twice in the last year. One time the clubhouse was closed but a member stopped by and gave us a welcome gift anyway. The other time the dockmaster stayed late to welcome us. A very protected marina.

Our favorite FCYC club, 2016-05-23

Great floating docks. The dock master goes way out of his way to accomodate your every need. The pool is great and food at the club is excellent. The only draw back is that it is a very long walk to anything. Dock master loaned us his car to solve that. I will definately stay there again.

Very well protected marina, no hull slap. Docks and dockhands are very good. Boaters facilities are very good. Pool area is very nice. Club itself is comfortable, food is good and staff are welcoming. Good place to go for a couple of days relaxation.

The approach is well marked and has plenty of water. Dock master meets you at dock and is very helpful in tying up. Very well protected form wind and waves. Club house has heated swimming pool and first class food and service. It is isolated so not much to do off marina grounds.

Excellent club, 2012-10-03

Super facility and great staff. Very secluded.

This FCYC club remains a must stop for us, whether passing north and south or cruising to Ft Myers or beyond. We visit several times a year lured back by the fine facility and the extra friendly staff. Easy access, water depth no problem (for our 4 foot draft). Visit on their Wednesday night happy hour in season and you'll meet many welcoming members. An extensive outlet mall is less than a mile away with courtesy bikes available from the club. A local restaurant will provide transportation if you must go off site. Take a walk within the gated St. Charles neighborhood to see one of Florida's most architecturally spectacular residential communities (IMHO).

Friendly, well protected harbor with good fixed docks and power. Channel can be a bit dicy with low water depths around 6 feet. Good food. Wait staff delivered dinner to the boat.

Very Nice Club, 2010-02-26
Captain: , Ft. Myers (406)

Stayed the Feb 18. Great stopover. Fine food, good drinks and a very helpful dockmaster...Paul. If you are one that needs to walk to closeby shopping, this is not the place. Bring your bike and ride a couple of miles to the Tangeir Outlet Mall. FCYC only
