Reviews for Squirrel Cove Government Dock
Squirrel Cove Dock, 2016-09-06
Captain: , Kirkland, WA (4478)

Not much of any space for transient boats to tie-up. Mostly local boats and what space that is available is very poor quality dock. If you are trying to get to the Squirrel Cove General Store or nearby restaurant you will have better luck anchoring out and use the General Store dinghy dock. This really a locals dock.

Locals Only, 2014-02-01
Captain: , San Diego, CA (480)

The dock should read 'locals only' since there were only 3 spaces on the dock for visitors. The rest of the docks had local boats tied up.... prawn boats (out of season now), fishing skiffs, etc. Most visitors who want to buy groceries anchor and dingy in...like we did on 8-2-2013.

Convenient place to put in - terrible wake from entrance to Squirrel Cove, 2013-09-25
Captain: , Pender Harbour and Calgary (110)

OK dock if you come in late and leave early and use lots of fenders. Convenient to buy food at general store, though anchoring and dinghy are an excellent option.

Not the best showers/restroom, 2013-08-23
Captain: , Bainbridge Island, WA (343)

The showers and restroom are pretty dirty. The fish tacos at the Flying Squirrel takeout, however, make it worth stopping--the best I've had.

Good access to the store, 2012-09-25
Captain: , Bozeman, MT (740)

Small and bouncy, don't stay the night. Great for access to the general store. Check out flying squirrel takeout behind the general store, it was delicious!

For quick stop, 2009-09-12
Captain: , Seattle, WA (437)

At the store up the road. Too exposed for overnight. You might need to anchor and dinghy over. Be aware that the dinghy dock is dry at low tide.

exposed moorate, 2009-09-01
Captain: , Olympia (308)

There's a long dock with moorage on either side, Power boats and dingys on the south (I suggest).

Pretty exposed to northerly winds and wakes from passing power cruisers.

General store is nearby.
