Reviews for Soverel Harbour Marina
Highly Recommended!, 2017-04-22

The renovation project here is paying big dividends for boaters. This was the first time we brought our 41' trawler to Soverel so we have no basis for comparison but everything now is first class without question. A brick dockside walkway, in-ground trash receptacle, pump-out and parking at the slip. Steve, the dockmaster, gave clear directions to our slip and was there to help us tie up. Everyone on his staff that we met--Julie, Vince and Lenny--were friendly and helpful. There's 24-hour access to the heads and laundry. And then, all those amenities just a short walk away (dinner at Carmine's was superb!) This was a brief stay--just one night--but thoroughly enjoyable. There don't seem to be a lot of transient slips available but we certainly hope we can snag one the next time we transit the Palm Beach area.

Just spent two great days at Soverel Harbour Marina, a first class establishment with great people and facilities. Everything that we needed was there (showers, laundry, pump out) and more - very nice restaurant and superb Carmine's fresh market on site. We needed to rent a car and staff were super helpful. An all round great experience and would strongly recommend to our friends. Thanks for everything.

Stayed here for 2 months...ummmm, 2017-03-20

It's expensive. More expensive than Miami. You get great parking right at your boat, great access to food and a few shops there.

The service was ok. The bathrooms are limited, One mens and one womans. You'll be asked by the staff if they can "jump in there first" each time you go in. Which was a little weird. For access after hours you'll need to located the security guard...who will sit outside of the door as you use the bathroom or shower. Ummm...Laundry is ok too, one each. The docks are old and tired.

For as much as they are charging it should be a large resort.

Management response:
Soverel Harbour Marina is currently under new management and presently completing a 1M infrastructure and appearance remodel. The marina has had significant utility upgrades including the installation of a slip-side pumpout system. We now have brand new paver walkways, landscaping, and asphalt pavement, with parking, steps from your slip. Along with the physical changes, there have been staffing changes and ongoing training. While personal 24 hour service is available, the convenience of a code lock now allows secure amenity access around the clock. Soverel Harbour has been one of the most economical marinas in the Pam Beach market, but the rates are based on slip size as opposed to vessel size. Slip assignments are now handled by trained staff. Banking with an ATM, Angry Moon - a premium cigar bar, Carmines Gourmet Italian eatery and market, Ocean Seafood Restaurant, Edmund James Hair and Nail Salon…just a taste of the services and amenities available on-site, with many more nearby.

Very good stop, 2016-05-06

Spent over a week here after crossing from the Bahamas. Marina is off the ICW, easy in and out. No current well protected and everything you need is close by. When construction is complete it will be great. Steve and Deborah were great and there to help with what ever we needed.

Great Staff, 2015-12-12

We stayed here for 4 months, Steve, Dockmaster and Deborah in the office are both terrific. There is construction on the dock walls which has been going on since June and will continue into the new year which makes the marina dusty. There is little tide in the marina. The only downside are the restrooms which are in the office which is open from 8 until 5pm, security - who are great - will open at night, but it is a little awkward. Carmines on site is the best for food and take out meals, Trader Joes across the street.

Nice place, 2015-11-10

Very narrow fairway and slips. Steve is a great help though. Stayed two nights 11/6 and 11/7. Great restaurants, gourmet groceries, salons, etc. on site but can be quite a long walk depending on which slip you are in. In the Gourmet Market, Best pizza, just like NY City! Fixed docks with a 4' tide so getting on and off can be difficult. Didn't use the facilities, very long walk from our slip.

Consistently appealing stop over, 2015-05-24

Visited multiple times, always satisfied with the accomodations and service at Soverel. Several good eating facilities close by, particularly like Carmine's. Friendly staff.

Narrow entryway with a swift current in channel entering and exiting, but once in, the staff was great. Nice amenities on the grounds. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Great looking place but no catamrans allowed, 2014-11-23
Captain: , Grassy Key (32)

Management has decided that "no catamarans" of any size are allowed. We are only 14 feet wide and would fit. But the rules say no. They were very nice about it... On the bright side many restaurants nearby. I would be happy to recomend. Just don't bring a catamran.

Upscale townhouse marina, 2014-11-19
Captain: , Deerfield Beach, Florida (150)

Stayed for one night. Deborah nicely answers the telephone and Steve the dockmaster knows his marina and NASCAR. 125 slips total starting at the north side and running CCW. The office with single bathroom /shower and laundry is near slip 80. Office is locked at night and you need to contact the guard on CH 16 for night access to the bathroom. Townhouses look down into the marina on the North side. Nice restaurants including Noche (near slip 95) and Carmines (near slip 103) surround marina. They both were playing DJ or live music. Waterway Café is across PGA Blvd. Panama Hattie%u2019s is over the bridge but was closed (11/14). We got the wi-fi password from the guard. It was quiet around the docks at night on the North side.

Very Accommodating , 2014-06-16
Captain: , Port Aransas (992)

Narrow channel zig zags into this secure hurricane hole. This marina won't make transients leave if a storm comes. Plenty of depth into the channel and little current with three ft tide range. Tricky getting in stern to but Steve, the DockMaster will help and was super nice. Call him on 16 and he will switch you to 8.
Non floating docks make getting on and off fun when the tide goes out.
Showers and restrooms are up by the office and they lock them after hours so you need to call Steve to get in. There is a single washer and dryer available.

Probably need to use the bus to get to Publix or West Marine if you don't have bikes.

Excellent marina, 2011-04-07

We slipped in the marina on our way south headed for Lake Worth when the bascule bridge shut down with hydraulic problems. Souverel's harbormaster found us a slip and we spent a very comfortable night there, enjoyed drinks at a local pub, and took advantage of showers and other ammenities. Would go there again.

This is a great location and a hurricane hole. The marina may be hard to get into but otherwise is my choice in this area.
