Reviews for Sodus Bay Yacht Club
A Great Yacht Club, 2016-05-25
Captain: , Britt, Ontario (691)

5/24/16 - A weekday and early in the season so no one around. We tied up at the transient wall in 10 feet of water. Power and water available. Very tidy and well maintained. Washrooms were open. A nice little town too!

The folks at SBYC are the greatest. We had ocassion to visit last night and spend the nite. Dinner, bar food, was great and the company was superb.

You'll enjoy your stay at SBYC.

Friendly, Great town., 2014-08-06
Captain: , Rochester, NY (100)

The yacht club bar is open Thursday at 4 pm, and at noon Friday, Sat, Sun(closes early). Pub menu on those days with full dinner service Saturday and Sunday. There are charcoal grills at the club. Resturants and shops are close by.
There is not a grocery store in town. No laundry facility at the club.

A well established club. They have a very active racing program

Nice older club with a friendly atmosphere for boaters, close to village, marines, restaurants and bars. The fisherman leaving in the early morning will give you a rolling awakening.l

This is a first rate club. Great facilities, nice club house and fun members.
Options to either anchor off, take a mooring ball or a dock.

Great Club, Friendly Members, Beautiful Location, 2009-06-28
Captain: , Key West, FL (748)

The previous entry is exactly correct. Stayed here for two nights (free the first night and $25 the second) and had a great time. Made several new friends from the very friendly and helpful membership. Transient pier has plenty of depth, limited power (30W) and water.

This is a great club!, 2008-12-11

Very friendly people, excellent organization, well staffed. Members from reciprocal clubs are welcome. Excellent restaurant at the club, plus many within walking distance, beach, live bands weekends, you can't do too much better than this!
