Other price info: Reciprocal dock is the first dock you see as you enter the west basin. There's a wide spot on the floating dock where the club's junior sailboats are stored. The reciprocal moorage is on the west side of that dock. There's about 150 feet of space. The registration information is in a box on the side of the junior sailing building which is adjacent to the stored boats. If you plan to go ashore then you need to go up to the bar to get a key because the area is behind a gate. There's a drop box for the key when you leave.

Reviews for Sidney and North Saanich Yacht Club
Great reciprocal privileges, 2017-05-31
Captain: , Blaine (25)

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at the reciprocal dock in late May 2017. The junior sailors were on the dock so gave us a hand with our lines. Showers are hot and free and the clubhouse serves an excellent meal and selection of draft beers.

nice clubhouse and setting, 2013-03-01
Captain: , Sidney, BC (10)

great bar and very decent restaurant. A good place to use for recipric privileges. Locals might find it a good place to join.

Excellent Moorage, Bar and Restaurant, 2013-02-28
Captain: , North Saanich, BC (39)

The Sidney North Saanich Yacht is one of only two yacht clubs on Vancouver Island with a 5 day a week bar and excellent restaurant operation. The moorage is very protected with 260' of dock space and more can be made available by arrangement. The clubhouse has a beauttiful setting with large decks overlooking Tsehum Harbour. Club staff and members are very friendly and welcoming.

Great place to belong to, 2012-02-16
Captain: , Cowichan Bay, BC (838)

SNSYC is a very outgoing bunch of people. The club doesn't have any dock space for members so it is exclusively a social club but it does have reciprocal dock space. Great restaurant in a heritage building on the north side of Tsehum Harbour. The floats at the reciprocal dock aren't perfect but there's lots worse out there too.

Very protected dock, 2010-12-29
Captain: , Sequim, WA (676)

One reciprocal dock where rafting is required. Members not too outgoing but friendly enough. A free night on a dock is always a good thing!
