Reviews for Setur Finike Marina
Great care of our boat over winter, 2015-06-06
Captain: , Swanwick UK (938)

We have just returned having left our boat in Finike over the winter and we are very happy with the way they have cared for things in our absence. The marina staff are very friendly and helpful and the technical workshops very good - there is a good Volvo dealer who did a very thorough service, picking up things which had been missed by his Greek counterpart last year, and a good stainless steel workshop and carpentry. Lift and launch was done with care - although they use old fashioned logs as props and I would prefer to see proper cradles.

We would not hesitate to leave our "baby" here again another winter if we were in the area - and would certainly come here for any work which needed to be done on the boat.

The internet connection referred to in a previous review has been fixed and they have a good WiFi network in place now - the toilet block is clean and modern in the marina itself, but the one in the hard standing yard leaves a lot to be desired.

There is a liveaboard community (which we haven't really taken part in as we were not on board in the winter) - regular barbecues and outings arranged.

Wintered here 2014/2015, 2015-03-01
Captain: , Carson City, NV (8659)

Happiest marina we have stayed at. All facilities were more than satisfactory. There was plenty of social activities. The town was very nice and the people there very hospitable - even for Turkey. The marina management was accommodating and friendlier to livaboards than any other I have dealt with in Turrkey.
Excellent community.

The only draw back was the difficulty getting boat parts compared to Marmaris.

Water is drinkable, 2014-11-06
Captain: , Jaluit (622)

Typical med mooring. There is a tiny swell but nothing serious. Marina continues to be well taken care of by staff. Best part of our stay was Large, one of the three marina dogs. Sweetest dog in the world. Water is drinkable.

I almost gave up hope of getting water in the boat that we could drink. Even in major marinas like Cannakale and Didim you could not drink the water.

AMUSANT was lifted for the winter. The team did an excellent job and I really felt very comfortable about the process.

Best marina we've been in, 2014-05-02
Captain: , Fremantle, West Australia (1448)

Had a superb winter here. Full social program (pub nights, games nights, quiz nights), trips to other places in Turkey organised, regular bus trips to Antalya for the Symphony Orchestra concerts. Not a tourist town, which is great %u2013 you fit right in with working people. Town is easily walked, good shopping for food (good weekly market, too). Facilities are very good. Internet is not and is a real pain. Showers/toilets cleaned several times a day. Very good. Restaurants close and many (all Turkish menus, no international). Staff and management excellent. Docking assistance is the best we%u2019ve experienced. Haulout and hard stand %u2013 can do your own work. Best marina we%u2019ve been in.

Hard to say good things, 2012-08-23
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (1604)

This marina is old, one of the first, and it seems like it has been neglected. The town itself has no draw for tourists. there are a lot of boats that stay here full time because the price is cheap. Staff is friendly, but they work out of a trailer.
