Reviews for Seminole Boat Yard
A Very Good Yard, 2012-02-26
Captain: , North Palm Beach, FL (539)

Have been using this yard for more than 12 years. They have two travel lifts run by an experienced crew. Many services are available on site. OK to do it yourself or bring in your own service company, provided they are properly insured and ok with the marina. No extra charge. You can bring in your own paint. Must use vacuum sander. And no grinding steel to avoid spreading the rust particles around. Current can be tricky at the travellift well.

Good lift and friendly people. Suprisingly they increase the storage rate after 21 days. They also charge more for catamaran storage which they did not quote when booking the lift time. Had work done by outside contractor James who did a good job. Mainly outside contractors. Hot and dusty yard.

Good repair yard, 2011-02-13
Captain: , Palm Beach Gardens, FL (1897)

We were here for 2 weeks due to hitting a submerged object mid channel of the ICW.
Repairs were completed by Randy and his crew in a timely fashion.
Yard does get very dusty and there are always workers sanding and bottom painiting etc so plan on giving your boat a good wash after relaunching.
Yard staff were very helpful and you can do repairs yourself if needed or in addition to subs work.
Security is very good and access is 7 days per week.

Excellent yard, 2010-12-19
Captain: , Rowayton, CT (181)

Seminole Boat Yard is not a marina per say, they only have a few slips; but it is an excellent yard to do work. You can do it yourself, hire an outside person or have their own personell do the work. We just finished haulling there to have our bottom repainted and our prop pulled to be sent to PYI to be rebuilt. We hired Jim Jesteadt (561) 723-9994 to do the work. He was prompt, very efficient and did great work for a very reasonable price.

The cost to haul was very reasonable and they went out of their way to fit us in. When they put us back in the water they let me stay in the hauling slip for the night for nothing. They did charge $1.25/ft/day to stay on the hard while we did the work.
