Reviews for Seaport Marina
Nice place to become human..., 2014-07-28
Captain: , Stenungsund (10)

... again after a slow Norh Sea crossing, prising was fair and we ended staying a night more then we had planned.
A 20 minute walk into town and a few pubs where you can get battered haddock and chips. Remember to call ahead when entering the lock from the North Sea channel 74.

Remember to take a peek at titanic.

was here twice last year(2013) Very well maintained facilities with two super markets with in a short walking distance and bus service to downtown Inverness

Seaport Marina, 2013-08-24
Captain: , Nairn (164)

We always use Seaport Marina when transiting the canal, Its our first and last night stop when ever we are heading over to the west coast from our home port of Nain.

The showers and toilets are always clean, plenty of hot water and always warm. Staff are great and always willing to help. Water and electric on the pontoons. BT WiFi in the marina. Shops handy along with take-away.

A great place to stop, quiet for its city location.

Good marina at start of Canal Transit, 2013-08-06
Captain: , North Shields (300)

This marina has good facilities and is a short way up from the sea lock if you are going South down the Caedonian Canal (or the last one if going North). Collect toilet keys which are then used for all the marina/facilities except some private ones, throughout the rest of the Canal.
Close to the large town of Inverness.
Recommend the Clachnaharry Inn back towards the sea lock and then walk left.
