Reviews for Seal Beach Yacht Club
Great small club, hospitable, 2014-11-29
Captain: , Coronado, CA (465)

This club shares available slips when members leave the dock, so there isn't a standard list of available guest space. Also, it is necessary to use the public facilities (Club provides a key) because the club doesn't provide showers or a head after hours. Docks are being renovated, but the older docks are very unstable with holes in the deck and very small fingers. Last trip, I saw a racoon on the dock, which was rather unusual. With that said, itis an excellent club and they have a very welcoming attitude.

Seal Beach Yacht Club is the friendliest YC I have found on the west Coast after an almost one year search. They have a clean and well appointed club house with full bar and many dinners Friday through Sunday. Sundays the offer a grill-your-own for only 3.00 for all the fixings to go along with the meat you bring. The offer a wonderful sailing and racing program with Thursday races throughout the season and a full cruising schedule for 9 months out of the year. They have very reasonable dues and don%u2019t require you to own a boat. I would invite anyone interested in checking us out to stop in and look around. We are the building right next to West Marine in Alamitos bay. We even can help you find a slip in Alamitos Bay faster then just going to the Harbor Master.
