Reviews for Sea Isle Marina and Yachting Center
cheeper fuel, thats it !!!!, 2017-01-18
Captain: , Pleasantville (30)

cheeper fuel price, but charged $1.00@ gallon for water (unmetered tap) , $20.00 to pumpout, and $30.00 to tie up for 2 hours to provision.
heavy current going in and out, of a tight marina. not worth the money savings.....

OK for a fuel stop, 2016-12-15
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (523)

Stopped here thanks to cheap fuel. Dockhand didn't really speak English but everyone was nice and friendly. A bit tight to get in and out (in a 56').

Just fuel, but nice, 2015-12-20
Captain: , Winter Garden, Fl (2391)

We stopped in for fuel - some of the best diesel prices in south Florida without going to a truck. We topped off on our way to the Bahamas - diesel & gas & water. While at the fuel dock the Admiral walked to Publix - two blocks away for last minute provisions. The dock hand was very helpful, didn't have a problem with going to Publix - gave directions. We didn't stay over night here and I'm sure the comments regarding the current were accurate, but for our little visit the folks were very nice.

Concrete jungle, 2015-01-03
Captain: , Deerfield Beach, Florida (150)

We stopped by to look for some food supplies which they did not have. No help at the dock. The counter staff was busy talking to one another. A strong current runs through the marina under the breakwater. Underwhelming.

great place, 2014-12-10
Captain: , miami (14)

not for everyone, but it was a good experience, close to public transportation and provisions. things have really changed in the last few years since we have been here.

Overpriced and unprofessional, 2013-01-02
Captain: , Islamorada, Florida Keys (319)

This is the worst marina I have ever stayed at. I was under a contract there, so some of my issues shouldn't really effect cruisers and transients, but here%u2019s a summary of some of the things that will.

For a large marina, in a major city, charging the outrageous prices they do it's ridiculous that they don't provide Wi-Fi.

The outer piers have a horrible cross current. On the Southern pier it%u2019s so strong that it%u2019s impossible to pull out of your slip when the tide is running. Both piers also have giant gaps in the walls the provide no protection at all from wakes and waves. With any kind of wind from the East your boat is going to rock all over the place in the slip. It would literally be more comfortable to just anchor in the bay. The 2 outer piers are also covered with more bird droppings the a rookery. They get power washed maybe once a year, and by the following day you%u2019d never know they were cleaned.

There is also zero lack of communication or common courtesy from the staff. They will often shut off dock water and/or shore power sometimes for days at a time (to make repairs which is understandable) but without giving their clients any advanced warning at all. When they make decisions like this often causing their charter customers to lose money, they take zero responsibility. It%u2019s not their fault and it%u2019s not their problem is the attitude when it comes to everything.

Secure, tight marina, 2012-10-28
Captain: , Fort Pierce City Marina, FL (460)

We spent a night here enroute to N Florida due to it's location on the intercoastal. The staff were all nice and very helpful. Easy in for fuel, however, it was fairly tight for our 48' MY. Twin screws are helpful to get in & out! If we were looking for a place in Miami, this would be a good option due to security & easy access to Miami.

Bad Condition, 2012-06-11
Captain: , Halifax Marina Daytona Beach (300)

everything is in bad shape, big tide difference

Tight Squeeze, 2012-03-15
Captain: , Georgetown (290)

We have refueled here, and gotten a discount too. Staff was helpful getting in, but it was very tight and tough turning to get out with our 40 ft sailboat. The store was nice. And the fuel price was right along with all the others...too high.

VERY Expensive But Lots To See And Do, 2011-04-20
Captain: , St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (404)

Very expensive dockage, with no help from dockmasters. Docking is a little tight for boats over 45' with tricky wind and current conditions. Restaurants and bars in attached condo hotel building give lots to do.

Overpriced/Understaffed, 2008-03-07
Captain: , Hollywood, MD (142)

Saturday afternoon-nobody there to help with docking. $3.50ft and no cable/no wireless /no pool

Nice Marina in decent location, 2007-04-16
Captain: , Tampa (246)

Friendly staff, Docking can be tricky in current. maneuvering can be tight for a larger vessel
