Reviews for Sea Bird Marina
Friendly & Knowledgeable, 2017-07-09
Captain: , Florence, SC (80)

We trailered our sailboat down and launched on there ramp. Seabird stored our vehicle and trailer for three weeks while we cruised the middle keys. Lynn & Sylvia were very helpful with their local knowledge. We will be back.

Nasty and grassy, 2017-02-18
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, Fl (300)

Avoid this place as the docks are covered in Sea Bird Poo and in need of repair. Couldn't even enter basin as it is filled with seagrass.

KOA next door has a little of everything just no large boat dockage

Great little Keyz Marina, 2017-02-18
Captain: , Naples, Florida (20)

We pulled in here for the night and ended up staying a week. Nice friendly family owned Suprise. They were full of information on fishing and snorkeling in the area. We ended up using the marina as a home base. We went fishing in the Florida Bay and Snorkeling at Alligator Light. Every evening we gather with the other people staying there to watch the set and visit. There were tarpon in around our boat in the marina and one day we saw a manatee. Great place, I am glad we pulled in to there on our way to Key West.

Very quiet and helpful, 2016-08-21

hard to beat for the price, 2014-06-20
Captain: , miami (120)

$53 for a night for a 37' sailboat including water and electric. Not much else, though, besides water and electric, nothing in walking distance, a very small family-operated marina with one shower. I did think there could have been much better communication from the staff on entry into their canal and basin, if you go in, ask them to explain the situation to you in detail before you enter. There is a narrow channel leading to a small basin with little maneuvering room inside. Note that this refers to the deeper sailboat basin, I have no insights into the powerboat basin.

A nice stop over, 2014-01-18
Captain: , Southport, NC (716)

A nice family runs this small marina. They were helpfull getting us into the slip. Basically a rest stop with laundry. Very tight getting into the slip, but I managed OK with our 43' Hatteras MY. We had to board from the aft swim platform. For a flat fee of $50, it was worth the hasstle. Heck, I might just stay another day to clean the boat. No shopping or attractions. I would give more stars, but cant since its so far from civilization.

A trailer boater's Mecca, but more., 2013-02-22
Captain: , Pinnacle, NC, USA (1422)

A Five-Star family runs a 3-star, 30 slip marina, making up in service what may be lacking in the ammenities important to the cruising communinty (absent pump-out and fuel for example). Our slip, typical of most, was well sheltered with 7' of water at low tide/8' high. It had fixed (10-12') wooden finger pier off a cement wall. We had 30' to 50' sailing neighbors as regulars that return year-on-year. Rates were low and all-inclusive: ramp-fee, launching, skilled assistance, water, electric, laundry, trailer storage... ice and bait extra.

Friendly, laid back, 2012-08-06
Captain: , Jamestown, RI (42)

A quiet, friendly small marina where "everybody knows your name". Everyone gathers at the end of the dock to watch the sun set.
A small ship's store, bait, clean showers, washer/dryer, picnic tables and frequent manatee visitations.
