Reviews for Schooner Island Marina
Pretty Good Experience but wow it's expensive, 2016-07-17
Captain: , Moorestown, NJ (40)

marina is closest to Wildwood and all that goes with it. First warning this place is packed, as in packed in like sardines. Other them that the facilities are clean and well taken care of, the staff is friendly and eager to please. Great wifi that works throughout the marina.

Nice Marina!, 2014-08-18
Captain: , Cherry Hill (237)

Stayed here on 8-16-14 for one night. We have passed by a hundred times and finally gave it a try. No dock hands greeted us (or were offered), but docking was very easy. We are 47' and they put us in a 60' floating slip on C dock, which was great. Finger piers on BOTH sides. Tie up bow-in and your stern overlooks open water. Great view to watch boats coming and going from the restaurants nearby. Pool and facilities were very nice and they have beautifully maintained grounds for dog walking. This is the southern most tip of Wildwood, so it's relatively quiet, but has a lot of action, eats, & entertainment in walking distance if that's your thing. Wildwood boardwalk and the beach is 8 blocks away too. Small ship's store, but no food on site or pool bar. A couple very nice vending machines is about it. We normally stay in Cape May when we need a break from our home marina, but will definitely return to Schooners and make this a regular destination.

A great marina in a very conveinent location, 2013-05-31
Captain: , bear, de (364)

A beautiful well maintained marine in a very conveinent resort location. Docks are in great shape. Pool, laundry and rest rooms in fantastice conditions The grounds are very nice wiht a dedicate dog park and clean grills available. The is a supermarket, walgreens cvs and many restaurants all within walking distance! ICW channel from Cape may is passable for large party boats, just need to watch sholaling on edge of channel near 469 469a

Family Friendly and Friendly Staff, 2012-10-04
Captain: , not available (17)

I had a great time at this marina. Some children were playing in the parking lot or fishing on the dock, adding a nice family friendly atmosphere. Staff was also great: polite, friendly, and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay here.

Friendly Place to spend some time!, 2010-11-01
Captain: , Havre de Grace (101)

We have spent a few days in this marina the last couple of summers. Nice floating piers and clean bathhouse. If you have a choice stay on B dock, B dock people are the BEST!

Make the trip !, 2008-03-09
Captain: , Atlantic City, NJ (76)

If your here for a weekend or just the night, turn north Cappy and see what this place is all about. We are based in Atlantic City but make the run down here every year. Utch's, Canyon Club are Ok but this is a much better facility with some options for dinner about town. The Boardwalk and beach are there own attractions. We will be back in 08 again, maybe we'll see ya there and share a limee

Great Place, 2007-08-24
Captain: , New Bern, NC (197)

We stayed here last weekend (August 17, 18 2007) and had another enjoyable time in Wildwood. The facility is always well maintained. Access is easy with well marked piers and slips. The slip holders were all friendly and provided us with ample entertainment.

Worth the 4 mile trip North of the Canal, 2007-02-02
Captain: , Cape May County NJ (3)

Relaxing, enjoying the sunset or holed up for a storm-this is a good place to escape to. Modern docks built to withstand what Jersey is used to exeriencing weatherwise. Easy access fuel dock, friendly people, nice slips for transients, very nice facilities (fresh flowers in the ladies room all summer long), pool and special events. Grocery and liquor store a block away. Good dining short walking distance. We think it is really worth the 4 mile run north of the Cape May Canal as opposed to the marinas in Cape May proper.
