Approach

Approach to SYC is straightforward. Look for the ferry dock to the south and the Spinnaker Restaurant (on pilings) to the north. Club is located in the southwest corner of a semicircular cove.

At night, the Spinnaker Restaurant has several bright floodlights low to the water. These are visible from a great distance.

Fairly brisk current can make docking in a flood and off the dock in an ebb difficult. Look at the boats at anchor in Richardson's bay to determine which way the current is running.

Reviews for Sausalito Yacht Club
A great place for Saturday night dinner!, 2009-08-10

Cruising in for fine dining at this reciprocal yacht club was a great experience. It is a friendly club with great bar views of San Francisco, Angel Island, the East Bay, Belvedere Penisula etc. You need to sign in with your membership card and they accept credit cards. They also have a great BBQ after their races. Check their website for the racing calendar.
