Wonderful Marina!, 2016-05-24
Captain: , Rock Hall,, MD (10)

We%u2019ve been slip holders for 3 seasons and can%u2019t say enough good things. It%u2019s a beautiful family-owned marina, clean and well-maintained, immaculate grounds, etc. Owners Patrick and Patty are warm and welcoming. Service at this marina can%u2019t be beat. Service always performed in a timely fashion, and efficiently. Patrick is honest, and very knowledgeable about power and sailboats, all types of engines, rigging, etc. And he knows a lot about the Chesapeake region and it%u2019s history. As a special bonus, the Sassafras River is gorgeous and peaceful, full of lovely anchorages. So glad we found SAI.

Nice Stop Over, 2015-07-29
Captain: , Forked River New Jersey (70)

A great little marina on the sassafras river. This wwas a stop over on our club's July sailing cruse july3 and 4th 2015. Patty and Patrick made us feel at home. Guided us from resevations to our slips and then the 4th picnic the marina had with a bunch of food and dingy races. All good fun. I will go back again first because of the owners and then the nice quiet spot to stay.

Wonderful experience at this marina, 2013-07-08
Captain: , Wolfeboro Falls (40)

We were having some engine problems, picked up a mooring for the night. First thing in the morning we met with Patrick who advised us a couple of things to try ourselves before spending money on a mechanic if we didn't need one. Brought the boat into the dock, Bob did some troubleshooting and after just 45 min he had it solved. Very impressed with everyone here, reasonable moorings, very pretty spot. Spent 2 nights.

Helped us in a time of need, 2013-03-30
Captain: , Philadelphia, PA (21)

After buying a used boat and having the engine die immediately, Marina Manager called around, found us a good deal on a replacement, took me to a bank to withdraw cash to buy it, and helped me deliver it to my new boat. All around excellent place. Plan on staying here often while in the Chesapeake.

Excellent Expierence, 2012-09-07
Captain: , Perth Amboy NJ (30)

The staff is very friendly and very helpful! Facilities (pool/showers, picnic area) are not the most extravagent, but are nice and clean. We would highly recommend this to any sailboat; good price too! If you are coming here for more than an overnight stay, the town of Georgetown is def not all that much, nor is the nearby town of Galina.

VERY Friendly/Helpful staff, 2011-09-14
Captain: , Titusville, FL (120)

We were towed there after an engine failure. They were so helpful, friendly and professional that we have moved our boat there permanently. That says it all!

Nice Marina...even for powerboats, 2008-09-25
Captain: , South Portland, ME (537)

Sailing Associates is a nice little marina in Georgetown, MD, on the Sassafras River. The folks are very nice and helpful. Most slips only have 30 amp power but they allow splitters to combine two. I used a step down pigtail so only used 30 amps which limmited what I could use. Not a major inconvenience. Nice shower facilities and free wifi.
