Reviews for Sacramento Marina
Worth a Look, 2013-05-20
Captain: , Sacramento (173)

This is the largest marina in the Sacramento area and, by far, the newest. Prior to the Great Recession it was jammed, with a waiting list of at least 6 mos. But the recession hit this area hard, and the marina at this reporting is about half full. Despite the cobwebs and copious Canada geese poop on the docks, it is in good shape. It has a great fuel/free pumpout station, and the marina staff is very nice and helpful. The entrance gets pretty skinning from the spring through the summer, especially in dry years, due to dredging restrictions. This year (2013) is a very, very low water year and the bar acoss the entrance is dicey at low tide if you have antyhing with more than 3' of draft. Still, we like the place. Good choice for nice freshwater, covered moorage.
