Reviews for Sabine Marina
Plain Jane but good value, 2015-12-26
Captain: , Ocean Springs MS (1032)

Funky but reasonable. Bar has cold beer and friendly bartenders. Washing machines are fair price and the dryer will cook yer clothes, might can get 2 loads for one coin drop. Docks are serviceable and what you'd want in a dock. We have been, and come back regularly

GICW MM188 in Sabine Bay.
Multiple attempts were made by phone and VHF radio to reach marina personnel. No one ever responded to messages, radio transmissions, or returned phone calls. We anchored in bay.

Great Location, 2015-10-01
Captain: , Pass Christian, MS (50)

Boardwalk right across the street & Pensacola Beach a short walk south. Mark was great to deal with. Great rates for the area. Fun place to wait out the wind! Laundry, showers & live music most nights.

Great if you like running aground., 2015-06-27
Captain: , Mandeville (20)

Great Location and reasonably priced, but I draw 5.7 and bumped on both sides of the channel. Also short finger piers made tying up a challenge.

No frills, but close to all the action!, 2015-05-21
Captain: , Orange Beach, AL (356)

Quaint is a good description. Could use some upgrades, but good location, and reasonble price. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars.

Minimal facilities, 2015-03-20
Captain: , Port Aransas, Texas (222)

Pretty beat up fixed docks. Almost no facilities here other than restrooms which are shared with a smoky bar. Easy walking distacne from lots of shopping, bars, and restaurants.

good stopover, 2015-01-29

easy marina to get in to. harbormaster met us on the dock and assisted with lines, ect... beach within walking distance and plenty of restaurants. this is also the home of the first bushwacker!

Quaint with Character, 2014-11-21

An older marina with wood docks but the harbor master is first class he helped with the docking, the lines and the electrica. He is workin g upgrading the Wi Fi and once done it should work great. For now WiFi is very limited. The approach is pretty much straight forward, travel down the side of the bridge and stay between the markers. Everything you could want is with in walking distance.

Winds bow from the west, 2014-07-28

Bit tricky to dock with the constant 10 knots broaching. Have a bar connected with showers attached to bar. Showers lock off main restroom. Excellent location walking distance to provisions circle k and ton of bikini bars and restaurants. U have to call the number to get the harbor master approx 1.20ft. No charge for utilities or water. Harbor master is laid back paid over the phone Excellent location and harbor bar is great late night spot.

Fun Place to stay!!, 2014-06-18

This is not the fanciest marina by far, but you can't beat its location. An easy walk to beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. Staff and folks here very laidback and friendly. Only had 50a power so have a pigtail. Loved it would stay here again.
Approach is easy plenty of water 8 to 10 ft on channel(well marked) and 12 at the dock.

Easy Access, 2014-03-16
Captain: , Fayetteville, Arkansas (651)

When we got Mark on the phone, the rest was easy. Mark isn't always available, but after a cell phone call we were set for a slip. The docks are wooden and well kept. At 1.00/foot for the location, it's really a great deal.
The marina is close to many eateries. We enjoyed a nice walk down Via Deluna where there are many shops and restaurants. This place is nice and overall a great stop. We waited out a nasty cold front that produced some damanging tornados. We had winds above 40 kts and were well protected. We'd stop here again.

Good place, 2013-05-20

Good place for a stop to visit Pensacola Beach. Take a ride on the new Farris Wheel.

This little marina is in a great location. Across the street from all the restaurants and attractions of Pensacola Beach. Has bath facilites. A very laid back attitude. Gated pier. There's a great little beachy bar right outside the marina dock gates (where the bathroom facilites are) and they usually have a local band playing great little tunes. Stayed there twice - nothing fancy but in a great location.

Well protected, convenient, 2013-01-05
Captain: , Kingman Yacht Center Cataumet, MA (223)

Plenty of "skinny" water along the channel, be careful. Marina has a good location to explore the island. Walk to restaurants and convenience stores. Be sure to visit the Pensacola Air Museum while in the area.

a Great Place to Party/Stay, 2012-03-28
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (390)

This is one of the most fun places to stay in FL. The Marina is a little not fancy, but has all the amenities. Jerry the HM is great. It is centrally located to a ton of bars, restauraunts and things to do. It is totally protected in Sabine Bay.

Any port in a storm, 2011-11-29
Captain: , Murfreesboro, TN (360)

Unless you have been in this inlet before, it can be difficult to acertain which marina is which. The laundry and shower is next to the bar and reeks of cigarette smoke, and it is secure from the outside, however the bar clientel have access to laundry and showers through the bar's backdoor. They come and go at will.
It is close to many restaurants but the only food store is the Circle K. Laguna's restaurant was a great find!

Gated, will accomadate groups. Weekends can get a bit loud on the deck with bands. Shower has had a wall installed. Walking distance to several very good restaurants. Breakfast is served at the local convenience store. Market has closed :(

pensacola resort, 2011-01-29
Captain: , pass christian, ms (60)

we spent summer 2010 and loved it. Affordable (400 month} for a 27' sailboat during high season, no lease. Covered parking, laundry, 3 restrooms with showers, bar at marina. Once you park there, you will not move your car till time to go home. There is no less than 40 bars, restraunts, food and apparel stores within 2 blocks. 100 yds south is P. beach, 50 yds south is bay beach, and Sabine Bay itself is nice. at dock, you have power, water, cable, and pump-outs delivered to your boat via some trolly/vac/pump device for 10$ where you dont have to be present, just tell Jerry and he does it while you are at lunch. Highly recomended.

If the wind is up and your not comfortable anchoring is the muck of this bay this is a good cheap stop. $1.00 per foot, laundry, showers, and a funky local bar on site!! They don't monitor VHF so you will need to call on the phone, give them as much advance notice as they are not always around the phone. Jerry is a great guy and will be there to help you tie up!!

Protected marina; home of Pensacola Beach Yacht Club, 2009-05-19
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (1109)

Nice marina tucked away in Little Sabine. Home of the Pensacola Beach Yacht Club. The dock is gated to prevent unauthorized entry. The channel to the marina does get somewhat shallows in the winter, so be aware if your vessel has more than about a 4' draft; summer doesn't seem to pose an issue. The marina is on the beach, so it is within walking distance of many beach stores.
