Reviews for Rybovich Marina
Awesome place, 2015-04-01

We tried anchoring outside in front of the sailing club but couldn't get a good hold so called the marina with our tiny 32" Beneteau and they treated us great. It's pricey, but the facilities are top notch, super clean, and the restaurant has great food at good prices.

The large yachts were a nice attraction.

Very nice well kept facility with a lot of extras. We left our new boat there for two weeks as we moved her to the Gulf. Restaurant and outdoor bar were nice but mostly frequented by the crews on the mega-yachts. Very expensive and your boat shrinks quickly in the shadows of the other vessels.

Pricey but work was completed, 2013-08-30

I had my boat packed away last year by this marina and was shocked at the sticker price. I ended up doing most of the work myself and over all staff was not very knowledgeable about sailing. But in the end everything was completed and they were very kind. I am satisfied with the end result but not enough to give them a perfect rating. I would recommend this marina if you didn%u2019t need professional help.

Prepare to be among the big boats, 2013-05-04

Good dockage fee. Friendly folks. Showers/bath need to be cleaned. Great limo to dinner and to the Spencer Rybovich marina, which we were told had a pool and nice venue. Tim the congierge did a great job and offered whatever services we needed. Good tiki hut and BBQ grill. Pet friendly. Docks floating side tie. A working marina with great reputation. Transients are welcome but not a priority.

$3.25/ft transiet. $4.04/gal diesel.
Good restaurant on site. All manner of repair available.
Great staff.

Not for the little guy, 2012-05-09

Very nice personnel working there however this marina caters mostly to the mega yacht crowd. If your boat is less than 100', you will probably be out of your league.

Decent place., 2011-11-04

This marina was fine. Kinda industrial feeling and not in the best neighborhood. I probably would look for a different place next time.

hi-end boatyard/marina delivers, 2011-04-17
Captain: , Hampton, VA (2573)

We stayed here two evenings because it was the only marina/yard which could dock our catamaran within reach of hoses of fuel/tank cleaning trucks. Only other yard was Cracker Boys where they were dredging -- blocking our access.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Super parts counter. Marina was full and yet squeezed us in between regular customers. While the rate of $3.75/ft hurt alot, we weren't charged extra for having the fuel tank cleaning contractor come it. Subsequent fueling in the slip was extra convenient.

Yard and marina business is dominated by mega motor yachts and Perini super sail boats. Even though we thought we were extra big, we were dwarfed in this marina, and thought we would never "fit in". The welcome by the dock staff and crew of megayachts was a big plus. If we could afford it and space was available, we wouldn't hesitate to return.
